i need know if i should come back. i have done research and its always a mixed review meaning everyone is 50 50 and i just cant decide my issue is i could never do endgame activities meaning ive tried multiple clans and none help each other. Ive been a d1 beta player so i have some love for destiny but ya.
No, the forum has reached its whining cry baby limit. Just look at the ridiculous threads started about abilities and weapons.

Unless you're a die hard and have people to play with, no. Theres honestly no reason to play solo or in small increments of content.

9 RespuestasEditado por Yosemite Sam: 12/27/2020 2:47:33 PMI don't understand posts like this knowing opinions will always vary and that you should be making your own choices, not asking others to make that choice. Here, I'll give you an example that is the complete opposite of players saying yes. At this point, this is literally where destiny is at. 1. Power means absolutely nothing in this game at all once you hit the hard cap. 2. Light level is just a little ticket to say you need this level to enter this activity. 3. Progress means absolutely nothing in this game because every 3 months Bungie thinks i's funny to rest everything you did. 4. Sunsetting is now going to be a regular thing like resetting us. 5. Only one destination out of this entire game is relevant and Bungie did absolutely nothing to update the rest of the game. 6. There is literally no replayable content. 7. Seasonal content like Season of the Hunt is basically a copy and paste work like the rest of the seasons, run hundreds of bounties to keep you on that hamster wheel. 8. Dawning has been a copy and paste for 4 years now, with more bounties to keep you on the hamster wheel. 9. IB has been a copy and paste for 2 years now with the same rewards. 10. When BL was released most things you collected were sunsetted, caped to where you can not bring them up to the current light level. 11. Bungie refused to create new loot for the game that it's lacking bad and they had the nerve to add an old season loot pool just to give loot to the game. 12. You have to pay this company $10 extra every new season just to get a tiny bit of loot added to the game. 13. The economy is a huge mess that this game is bloated with all kinds of junk loot instead of loot worth chasing. 14. Materworking items is a pure waste of time and resources that exotics are the only items that are not being sunsetted at this point. 15. No new crucible map. 16. No new gambit maps. 18. The shop is still Bungie's main focus in this game. I can go on, but the truth here is, Bungie literally destroyed their own game making it pointless to play. Luke Smith 4 years later did a complete circle and brought this game back to D2 base game.

if you have someone to play with then yes, if not then you should probably pass

Because the game director doesn’t give a shit about the community

1 RespuestaPlay the campaign then dip. If u get sucked in u won’t every be able to leave. U will just continually come back and get disappointed. And the worse part about that disappointment? This games gun play is unmatched anywhere. So nothing will seem as good but even so you will just only ever be slightly pleased in a forever state of disappointedly content. Don’t get sucked in. If u feel urself itching to play. Run. Treat this like any other game. Play the story then stick it on the shelf.

4 RespuestasNo, the game is trash. Population at a all time low. 😂
-
On PC, PS5 or Series X? Yes. On last Gen Consoles? No.
-
If you’re asking other people to provide reasoning, then I think you’re already know your answer.
-
If you have friends that play it or in a clan yes. If you’re playing solo no

Make up your own damn mind attention seeker Crap.... Mission Failed We’ll Get’em next time.

2 RespuestasTo be honest, you shouldn’t be forming an opinion based on these forums. Neither Reddit either. There is bias all over the place. Heck. I probably wouldn’t even watch streamers for beyond light videos because they are ALSO going to try to sell you the product. The only one that should decide is you. My suggestion is to watch a small amount of beyond light videos of different weapons, gameplay, and abilities WITHOUT AUDIO so you can then decide if it’s right for you. Now I would say beyond light is not worth it, but that’s my opinion. You should simply take the time to research it yourself and form a opinion yourself, as it should ultimately your choice. You shouldn’t base decisions around others opinion.

Editado por xLEFx777x: 12/27/2020 3:33:40 PMDon't. Game is having a severe identity crisis at the moment. Look, I'm the perfect example : I used to be a hardcore Destiny player, up until the end of Warmind DLC. Then, I stopped playing for 2 years. I came back 2 months before Beyond Light released. Honestly, I had A BLAST catching up ; there was endless things to do! Then, Beyond Light hit. Oh boy. It all went downhill from there. The whole game's been nerfed. It's funny, because of the timing of my comeback, I kind of got to experienced a real condensed before-and-after point-of-view. I played A LOT in those 4 months, and I can tell you that before and after BL is night and day. To my understanding, this is Destiny 3, but instead it got scrapped, and we got a soft reset. Half the game has disappeared into a metaphorical black hole because of reasons (read : darkness). It's a mess. It's boring. Everything feels meaningless, disconnected and tedious. Tuesday, after the reset, I logged in. Played 10 games of Gambit (because one of the weekly gambit bounty - for some reason - is WAY too long to grind), probably lost 8 of those games and got a pinnacle to drop at same light level than my current level. I haven't played since then. I'm probably done. What's the use?!

6 RespuestasDO NOT LISTEN TO THE FORUMS. The people here are toxic as hell. Try the free to play campaign and decide form there

Editado por Fish: 12/27/2020 8:20:28 AMDepends on what you want. Do enjoy Destiny even with its problems? Were you hoping for a lot of pre-existing problems to be fixed? Do you have the time to grind just for things to be cycled out? Are you just gonna burn out again after a month of playing? Answer some of these questions and you'll probably have your answer.

2 RespuestasHonestly, imo, if endgame content is out of your reach and you don’t wish to put in the grind and networking to make it accessible then don’t even bother playing Destiny anymore. This is just my opinion, but the endgame is the only part of the game that’s actually fun and worth experiencing. Everything else is a chore.

1 RespuestaI wouldnt pay money for it, if you get it for free on game pass like I do sure have a look but dont spend a dime on it its utter garbage. They removed half the game, sunset all the gear and have replaced it with phuck all. The only thing this game does consistently is get worse.
-
Stay far away Cap! Unless you're coming to visit me.

I have been a long time fan of Destiny, and of Bungie. The current versions of the game is frustrating because it's a game of chores with no real bonus for completing the playlist and activities if you are casual. The new subclass and location are pretty awesome, but Stasis is weak in certain activities. Works well against guardians in PVP though. The Devs raised the bar on difficulty, but it seems our character's abilities and weapons are dialed down or throttle back like janky internet providers in this new sandbox. This is just my opinion as a casual player, but give it a go you may have a different experience.

Not worth. I was sort of indifferent to sunsetting at first, but the mobile game system of cycling out weapons every year has soured me personally. Season of the hunt has been the most uninspired seasonal content I've played, and all the other content has been watered down due to lack of content, and the pvp is more of shitshow than ever. Not a good time to get in the game imo.
-
That’s a yikes

-
Should you come back? Personally I don't care. Do you like destiny? There's your answer
-
Just ask yourself, do I like to play mobile games with a premium price tag? If it wasn't free on game pass I would take the time to go to every site to give 2 out of 5 stars. Since I'm playing everything for free, it doesn't bother me as much. I will say that Season of the Hunt is the only time I felt like I didn't get $10 worth.
-
1 RespuestaOnly thing that has changed since you left might be the introduction of stasis. So for me the answer would be a no. Of course i still play so what do i know.
-
If you want a grind and something to do everyday then yes
