Akimbo Special is recruiting dedicated Guardians to fill it's ranks and ensure we can often do the activities we all want to do without having to LFG. This encompasses all activities, from raids, title seals, GM nightfalls, casual pvp and Trials. A little backstory about us... We are a relatively small clan (~70) who were once part of a very large clan (~600), who decided to leave in June and start our own community that would stay smaller, and more tight-knit. This means we will never go over the 100 member limit for a clan to promote better relationship growth and preservation. Due to our smaller, more personal community, we were able to get every person who wanted vaulted exotics/catalysts/seals (Anarchy, Whisper, Outbreak) what they desired before Beyond Light. We have a heavy focus on raids and endgame content, striving to ensure that members have the means to obtain every piece of loot and title they desire. We have a very active Discord server with a fair amount of work put into it, and we have seasonal clan "Olympics" with Steam cash rewards to keep people challenging themselves even during content lulls. We also try to foster a sense of this being more of a gaming community rather than a Destiny community, as many of us play together on a variety of other games. Since we focus on solid personal relationships heavily, we tend to do recruitment a little differently. We'd personally like to get to know you before induction, and we typically do this through a trial raid. This isn't a tryout, more of a chance for us to make sure you vibe with us and also serves as a great introduction to the clan, who we are, and what we are about. We will run Deep Stone Crypt or any of the available raids with you at the time of your choosing, and even gladly sherpa you through if you haven't done it before. Again, this is not a tryout, just a casual meet and greet with some loot included.
