I'm sure people have there opinions on shotguns, snipers, hand cannons, and the rest of them on PC, but as somebody who plays a lot of PvP on PS4, it is not the same for us.
Well yes, the way you control the game is different, of course it’s not the same.
Hand cannons have almost no recoil on PC, but they are very hard to control on consoles. So if you buff hand cannons, they are good on consoles, but overpowered on PC. If you nerf them because of PC, they will be terrible on consoles.
This is false. Hand cannons do in fact have recoil on pc too. The reason it seems that they don’t is due to player skill with a mouse. Countering recoil with a mouse is far easier than with a controller. Having played both ways i have good experience with them both.
Recoil is one of the reasons why weapons with high recoil on PC are good, but weapons with low recoil dominate on consoles.
This statement here contradicts your last one. The one about pc having no recoil. But now it has high recoil?
Felwinters Lie is broken on consoles right now. We don't have the FPS, the FOV, nor the sensitivity to counter somebody running at you and sliding at you with a Felwinter's Lie. Only thing you can do is run a shotgun to try to counter it. Snipers are basically pointless due to the aim assist nerfs, and long zoom scopes suck, especially when most long range maps are gone.
Felwinters lie a broken in general, fov and fps will not save you. You can have 300 fps(like my friends) or 100+ like me and still fall to shotgun apes. Thats due to player skill and reaction time. I do agree however on the sensitivity point. And on snipers. Like i said before, the control scheme is the factor here. Its much easier to aim with a mouse than with a controller. Point and case: me, i -blam!-ing suck with snipers. Both on console and pc, but at least on pc i hit sometimes.
Most of these problems are caused by the lack of a FOV slider, 60 FPS, and terrible sensitivity settings. I don't know how PS5 or Xbox Series X is, seeing as how majority of people cant get one.
(Edit)I still think FOV isn’t that big of a deal in pvp. But for Quality of life purposes i still think it should be added for those who want it. Never was against that.
FOV isn’t as relevant as you think, i can play with an ultrawide setup and still be juked by not seeing people. While i do think you should have a slider to change it your likings, your framerate might pay the price with that. Anything above 60fps for reaction time isn’t really relevant either, but because bungie ties things to framerates, there is a problem there. However the difference from 30fps to 60fps is noticeable.
Its almost impossible to balance this game on both PC and consoles.
The game is balanced separately as it is, so what you are saying here makes no sense.
To be honest, Destiny 2 shouldn't never come to PC.
Oh no, people are playing on their preferred system and not mine, that affects me because i know about it. They shouldn’t be allowed to have fun.
Nobody in D1 complains about the Crucible like they do now.
Everybody in d1 complained in the exact same way as people to in d2. The forums never change.
(Edit)This is a pet peeve of mine it isn’t relevant to op’s post\/
If you are here to say no to crossplay, i don’t agree with that either. It should be an opt in system to play crossplay. At the very least it should be in place for crucible. But i don’t think encountering people in patrols and strikes who play pc will really affect you. Oh and, cheating is not condoned by me or anyone, please stop using that as a point against player unity.
(Edit) also dont mind me, “sjw” for players playing together. It should be opt in though, i know how worried console players are with hackers.

FoV makes all the difference. Playing at 75 is like staring through a keyhole.

Everything you wrote made my eye twitch lol. The amount of misinformation in one comment. Holy shit

There's so much wrong with everything you said.. I don't even know where to begin..

My favourite part is how this chain called me wrong, and didn’t provide anything to counter what i said Good god

I like how he said “player unity” as if it’s some type of woke social justice cause. Apparently I am against unity if I don’t want to compete with M&k.

The way you control the game is different on PC compared to consoles is exactly why you cant balance the game between the two and that's exactly what I'm saying. What I mean by hand cannons have no recoil is that its easier to control on PC. That's why PC players might benefit from using a high recoil weapon; because they can control it better, unlike a console player. Obviously there is still recoil though. That's because they DON'T balance the game separately between platform. They might make controllers play different (really only through aim assist), but that has nothing to do with stat balancing between platforms on the actual game. The idea of Felwinter's being broken is a controversial matter right now, but I agree that its too powerful. But some people might disagree. An increase in FOV and FPS will definitely help that though. You can react much quicker and see more when maneuvering in a fight, so don't underestimate there usefulness. The reason why Destiny coming to PC was a mistake is exactly what I'm saying. Bungie is not smart enough, nor skilled enough to balance a game on two platforms. I explained that through the recoil control differences. And no, people complain about PvP way more no days, and that's a fact. I never said I didn't want crossplay, nor did I say anything about cheating, lol. I really want it for PvE. Of course, we better be able to switch it off, which I'm pretty sure we will.

I do agree with your later point of bungie not being capable of it.
What I mean by hand cannons have no recoil is that its easier to control on PC. But wont lie, i was frustrated the other day and definitely did a low blow with my reply. A low, ineffective blow. Later i’ll go down to 75 plug in a controller and relive when i was on console. But I definitely dont think FPS above 60 makes a difference. 30 to 60 does 100%. And the other one with recoil. That was -blam!-ed, the -blam!- was wrong with me a few days ago. Dont go on here much, thats why i replied late, i’m sure no one care anymore

Editado por Mara Sov’s Step Bro: 12/19/2020 4:33:01 AMPC does actually have less recoil with mouse and it isn't due to player skill or peripheral. They told us this when D2 released. Because it 'didn't feel good' and if it wasnt lowered you'd end up dragging your mouse off the desk trying to control it

It feels akin to trying to aim with a mouse at 30fps. The experience in itself assaults your senses. Low recoil on mouse is and always has been the way to go for usability
