They’ve been pretty clear about this. Having to fix a bunch of stuff that breaks when adding new stuff holds them back. The game had a lot of underused content and they even gave us statistics on the time spent in these places and they were pitiful. If they want to remove stuff to help streamline new content additions I see nothing wrong with it. Especially if it means it can return with new stuff or reasons to interact with it when it returns. I’m all for criticizing bungie when they make and choices like CC in a fast paced pvp shooter. But if old shits holding them back this is a plus. Nova warp was useless and underwhelming. Remove it and re-add it when they have a good rework maybe

Surely the answer there is to not release broken stuff then. To actually play test it

By that logic they should scrap raids since like 4% of people play them
By that logic they should scrap raids since like 4% of people play them
Exactly and pvp aswell as it holds the game back.

If raids were removed from destiny i don’t think it would be possible to call destiny a good game Crucible is broken Strikes are repetitive and boring and there aren’t many of them Gambit is terrible Dungeons are good but few and far between Raids are fun and engaging Patrol is literally a waste of time Bounties are killing the game

Yes sir (ma’am?) But raids are the glue that hold it together
Yes sir (ma’am?) But raids are the glue that hold it together
Yeah, only part of destiny that is worth playing.

Still doesn’t justify their sunsetting of relevant content. Everyone still wanted to run Menagerie because it was done well and had rewards to be sought after. Leviathan was also kinda popular still because they were awesome. I agree some stuff should’ve been taken out, but what they did is lazy and inexcusable
-
Personally I was pretty bored of menagerie but yeah it never made sense to me why they let that go. People loved it and it wasn’t a broken fast way to get insane gear. I’d hope they’re building new or adding to existing experiences inside it then re add it later on but for now I don’t think Luke is trying to hurt then game. He has made some solid improvements to destiny it’s just the time span of those changes has been far far larger then anyone expected
-
Excuses! And Apologism. Proelium FR3 got sunset. You tell me that weapon was causing any problems?
-
I don’t think the weapons were causing problems, they just wanted to redo the perk pool without nerfing or deleting gear out of our inventories. I see it as a damned if you do damned if you don’t situation. The new perk pools aren’t bad for the guns that got new ones but man why they removed a gun, and then put it back with the same perk pool just feels bad, like I enjoy the grind part to a gun but that just felt bad

Nova warp is useless because bungie can’t balance, the ynerfed it so hard ( pvp) that no one wants to use it.
