Skill is a part of balance. A weapon with a high skill celing may be extremely powerful in the hands of a skilled user but very weak with an unskilled user. Likewise a weapon with a low skill celing will perform poorly even when in the hands of a skilled user. You really don't understand the concept of balance I'm so sick of hearing children whine on this forum about what one class gets over the other. It's called balance. You want every class to be exactly the same that's called homogenization. Go play call of duty if that's what you want. This isn't a hard concept to understand The only way hunter is getting 4 slots is when it gets a weaker aspect that leaves it incapable of doing what it's currently doing and youll still whine and cry then too.

  • Okay You made 2 mistakes there. 1. Exotics, i'll agree are skill dependent, Depending on the weapon itself. But you can't just nerf the exotic because the highest of the high skill level is really good with it. 2. I'm not calling for every subclass to be the exact same. Im calling for 2 more fragments for hunters and 1 for titans, if not then rip some away from warlock and give one to hunter so it is a level playing field with fragments. If I was saying just give titan and hunter the shadebinder subclass, then i could see an argument for homogenization. But fragments are a small part of the whole that is stasis. You would expect that the first few aspects give all of the classes the same amount because it is the start of this system. To see how players react to new abilities, test it, and give feedback.

    I'm not saying anything needs to be nerfed. I'm saying exotics, skill ceiling, fragments, aspects, abilities are all a part of balance. Hunter doesn't get more than two fragments because of how powerful it is. Like shit. Outside of fissures, shards and hedrons most of them aren't even very good anyways. Like seriously stop whining. It's all a part of balance. You wouldn't expect them to have the same fragments because their aspects are all wildly different in capability from each other

  • You're generalizing what i'm doing. If i was whining, I'd be saying shit like: bUnGiE tHiS iS sO uNfAiR. i'M lItErAlLy GoNnA dElEtE dEsTiNy OvEr ThIs!!!!!!11!!!!!!!! You're trying to downplay my point and make me look bad so that your argument looks good. In actuality, you've said a lot of what other people have said. And i've been able to disprove it. And not really because titan and hunter both have a shatter ability, hunters and warlocks have a AoE Slow effect added to their class ability. The only two that are different are warlocks first aspect and titans second.
