Good job murdering Hawkmoon’s legacy
Yea uhhhhh the new “Hawkmoon” is dog vomit. Literally no situation where it’s better than ace of spades, or even a good rolled legendary hand cannon. You guys took one of the coolest and most recognizable guns in Destiny and transformed it into a husk of its former self.

It has some of the highest overall stat of any hand cannon, and is a super easy gun to pick up for new players. At the same time, it has a super high skill ceiling for those crucible gods who can land shots and find appropriate moments for utilizing its 1 shot potential. In PvE, it’s without a doubt better. You’re using a hand cannon that takes chunks out of health yellow bars every 8 rounds assuming you land your shots. There’s already been a team that’s killed taniks with 5 hawkmoon 1 divinity. [i]remember we are talking about a hand cannon here.[/i]

The weapon itself is actually quite good........but its not hawkmoon and never will be. Should've just made a new exotic instead of changing the identity of an old one.

15 RespuestasI'm gonna be real with you guys, D1 Hawkmoon wasn't good and you should probably take off your rose-tinted glasses for it. A 1 in 36 chance to 1 shot someone and a damage bonus on 3 bullets that legendaries in D2 piss on? Stop the presses. D2 Hawkmoon isn't D1 Hawkmoon and that's a good thing.

It’s literally the best HC in game if you can aim. Best stat package of any hand cannon (especially with the right roll) And is the only 140 that can consistently 2 tap after a kill.

10 RespuestasHawkmoon was a gun with good base stats and a cool "Haha I got lucky" perk. That's literally it. You could use it a good amount of the time and it would just act like a normal hand cannon. But occasionally it would let you do some extra damage for no reason. We now have a gun that has even juicier base stats, and lets you reliably one tap people if you land your shots. Land your shots or use a different gun. It's obvious Bungie isn't about giving us extra damage for doing basically nothing now a days.
