Okay, Should Bungie Bring Back Desinty 1 Loot At This Point?
Desperation has its effect. And I'm just tired at this point. New Gear? It seems like it won't happen, but we still need Loot.
Bungie might be hesitant about recycling D1 gear because we rightfully complain about the lack of creativity, but a lot of people would rather have the old D1 gear back, than nothing at all (or worse D2 year one reskins).
Bring back ALL the gear from D1?
Palindrome, Clever Dragon, Eyasluna you name it. It's all there so just put it all back into the game.
But what do you guys think? Anything is better than nothing?

D1 Shaders at any rate. Most of D2 shaders are white plus X, or 50 stupid shades of gray, or clown colors.

There should be a season called season of nostalgia or season or remembrance. I’m not even kidding. The entire season would consist of exotic quests to bring back D1 exotics in one fell swoop. This would then force bungie to have to create new exotics going forward. [spoiler]that will never happen[/spoiler]

I really don’t think they should bring back old loot if it isn’t going to be the same version , they should just make new weapons with new names... no point on playing the nostalgia game if the gun isn’t going to be the same... seeing hawk moon bastardized like this would be like seeing gjallahorn brought back as a scout rifle

6 RespuestasNo. And anyone that joins in the “something is better than nothing crowd” just allows Bungie to get away doing the bare minimum. Case in point, this DLC. Which supposedly they had in development for “years”. So, not sure how much COVID slowed them, but plenty of big ass companies can manage other big ass companies remotely just fine. So thank you advertisers for Bungie (“content creators”) for allowing that to happen because you’re all too weak to actually use your platforms to call Bungie out.

As welcome as more loot would be, I struggle to see how it would even matter or serve a purpose. If there’s 5 shotguns or 20 shotguns what difference does it make when we want basically one set of stats and perks for all of them? To have the same roll on a bunch of different guns that are only differentiated by slight differences in stats that hardly matter? Unless every weapon has a unique set of perks which I never see happening, there’s not really a reason to bring a bunch of weapons in if there’s no reason to use them other than it’s the weapon you got to drop with that roll you wanted that you can also get on 10 other guns that are just as good.

1 RespuestaPorting things over is not easier than making new things, they said that themselves, we really need to work with what we got first. The loot influx has been consistent for the last year, don't expect some sudden increase fueled by things from the first game.

Imagine they give us ALL OUR GEAR ? Oh man. I have SO MANY god rolled Eyasluna, Imago Loop, Grasp Of Malok, Hop Scotch Pilgrim ! I dont think they’d like this. We would literally break the game with all of those weapons lol
