PLEASE have Banshee sell Upgrade Modules in exchange for CURRENTLY AVAILIBLE planetary resources
It's been a WEEK since I could buy Upgrade Modules. I have so much crap gear I want to use as infusion gear to get my masterworked stuff up to higher levels but I CAN'T BUY ANY UPGRADE MODULES! I could be 10 light levels higher than I currently am but all those levels are sitting in blues!!! I know Bungie wants us to be able to use up our extra materials from vaulted planets but this shouldn't be a problem- Banshee always has 2 options for buying modules, why do they BOTH need to be non-renewable resources? Why can't one option be for the old materials and the other option be for current materials? It's such a stupid problem! Literally just don't have the only buying options be for resources you can't get anymore! I can't play every single day and it seems like every time I do get the chance to play, the game slaps me in the face by denying progression!

It's been more than a week and right after first week of this release. None stop. They don't care at this point.

I agree 100% the infusion system in this game makes me want to never play destiny, this is the worst part of it, having to worry about upgrade module and depleting all resources. Not everyone plays 24/7 and never sees the sunlight. Make modules 7500 glimmer only.

Bungo even encouraged players in some pre-BL launch twab to spent the soon-to-be-vaulted planetary materials now rather than later. So 95% sure banshee taking vaulted materials as currency is not even intended. Was supposed to be spider's job, "for small glimmer". A little whoopsie. It's good entertainment to be honest. Feel your pain though. If it's any help, the engrams that drop always account your effective light level from all the gear in your inventory + vault, not just the gear you have equipped. So you're not missing any progress from the dropping engrams. It's only a problem if you'd need to infuse something to meet an activity light level requirement. Which can definetly be an issue.

I had plenty of old planetary materials and at the last minute I turned them in, thinking they may disappear, for shards and now banshee still will take them, smh

3 RespuestasI think I have a solution!! If you go to the Eververse store, and go to Bright Dust, there is a consumable item called "Scavenger's Boon". It says: "Combatants defeated with precision final blows have a chance to drop planetary materials".

I’m so tired of hearing people complain about this. They publicly stated there would be ways to get rid of old mats before the end of the season and that players should do so. I support him accepting materials from vaulted destinations but he needs to accept both vaulted and current materials weekly. This way people that have stocks of old materials can use them or if newer player dont have vaulted materials they have the option to farm available material. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out

Spider, Banshee and the planetary resources is basically broken right now. Once I quit getting seasonal packages I foresee an issue.

17 RespuestasJesus christ, this again? Did you not read the TWAB? It clearly stated that they would be using up vaulted planets materials in this season. Beside, you don't even need upgrades IMO until you had 1250. Just use the blues/purples that drop higher than your current gear until you high cap, THEN start infusing your good gear to bring it up to level.

OR OR make it like the ORIGINAL destiny, where uprgrading legendaries only cost 3 legendary shards. Enhancement cores should only be needed for masterworking weapons, and Upgrade Modules shouldn't even have existed.

Yay today is finally the day. *Goes to buy upgrade modules* Banshee: Sir you have to have glimmer as well to buy these. Me: I swear to -blam!-ing god of spider is trading glimmer for old resources I am going to lose my mind. Spin metal...don't exactly have a huge stock but enough to get me through today. Jesus these RNG and old / new resource are really being a pain in my ass this season.
