Just in case anyone wasn't aware, the Mechanist is alive alongside the Fanatic
This is proven in the dark ether harvest heroic public event where the "reanimated mechanist" arrives to secure the harvest. Triggering the event even brings up the title "a Baron returns" meaning this definitely isn't just a game thing. Name change alongside the full on acknowledgement that this takes place after her first death confirms this
Also, Fikrul and Elykris are the only Scorn Barons to continue speaking after they ragdoll. Perhaps a tool to let the player know that these two Barons are still out there?
Regardless, we still got a Scorn problem. Even if they're under control they aren't defeated
After all
Divide us, but you can not break us. Scorn Barons are forever

1 RespuestaThank God, she was dummy thicc. Would be a shame to have all that cake go to waste.

7 RespuestasScorn dungeon? That would be nutty
-
So? We kill them all the same

15 RespuestasCanonically any scorn other than the fanatic can be revived but each time they become more and more mushed up on the inside and outside until they become a screeb. So the machinist can’t do it too many more times. The fanatic tho can come back 100% as he is each time as he was directly made from updrens tears

2 RespuestasHomie you take this lore more seriously than bungies writing team does.

I was reminded today pf this when I went into the event during a hunt

5 RespuestasElykris can't come back if no one does the Heroic (which I'm 99% certain most people don't know how to do it anyways). Also, interestingly, the Scorn recognize Crow as the former Prince Uldren. I wonder if Fikrul is aware of his status now?

2 RespuestasWait what?!

5 RespuestasWe have known this since season 4. Lore wise he can keep ressurecting them as long as they are not tatally destroyed. Hangman burned himself . Rider melted in the acid in those areas. Trickster blew up with her exotic bombs. The rifleman can also be ressed

2 RespuestasThe Scorn would fit wonderfully in 40k. Though I doubt even Fikrul would survive a hit from those new Primaris Hellblasters...
Sorry, all out of salt.
5 RespuestasWhy does no npc explain what they do and then suggest using fusion rifles or abilities. Hard to revive the dead when there's nothing left but dust
-
3 Respuestastheres quit a number of enemies that can canonically return through repetitive means: any ascendant hive, i believe, so long as we didnt kill them in their/the ascendant realm. any scorn, because the fanatic himself can come back (im not 100% sure its fully explained why he can specifically), and then he can bring back any scorn/dead eliksni AS scorn. vex can time travel to bring fourth an alternate timeline/changed timeline unit. there are some examples of named enemies returning through non-repetitive means, such as Sepiks Prime and Taniks (twice; once by SIVA, then again recently at the deepstone crypt). nothing for cabal though, lol.

8 RespuestasI can imagine Ol Fikky’s response when he hears about Eramis using the Darkness 😏
-
20 RespuestasOk but what happens when the Tangled Shore and Dreaming City get sent to the DCV?
-
1 RespuestaScorn have so much horror potential that goes unused. I want a Scorn strike or story mission akin to 343 Guilty Spark mission in Halo CE.

5 RespuestasAfter the wraith hunt aldren ask spider if he should move in with the barons and spider says it’s not necessary. So they are still allies
-
6 RespuestasWouldn't really call them 'alive' if they've been turned into a flesh puppet of Mr. Discount Necromancer
