Bungie. BUNGIE. B U N G I E... how about, you just leave our gear alone and let US decide what guns to use... what about you leave it to us whether we want to experiment or not with new guns. Why can't we try that.

I honestly feel like they did this to change the meta. I'm against the whole sunsetting thing too because on my dad's account I helped him get all the pinnacle weapons, so I know how much of a waste of time that was. But think about it, if they don't do that then the meta is going to always be Luna's Howl or Not Forgotten, Dust Rock Blues, and Wardcliff Coil or something to that extent. I'm actually in the middle on this one since they kinda came out with better weapons, but I do understand the frustration.

Because why make new weapons that nobody is going to use. Nothing is going to be better than recluse and mountaintop. Don’t try to tell me that they can just make better weapons. They can’t.

But they made those weapons when they had a completely different philosophy about the game. When those guns were made, Bungie were still planned to make a D3.

going by your TOTALLY flawed logic and ( the lack, thereof) of common sense, I would say that there will always be A BEST WEAPON archetype, for everything. There will always be the best 140 HC, the best solar pulse rifle, the best x , y ,z. Your reasoning is totally flawed. You mean to tell us that BEFORE Recluse, MountainTop era, there were no best this or that?

I don’t think you understand. If mountaintop and recluse were not sunset, then why would anyone use anything else. They are so much better than any archetype of weapon that no matter how much loot Bungie makes for us, why would anyone use them when mountaintop and recluse will destroy everything in any activity?

There's no room in the weapon ecology for guns better than Mountaintop and Recluse. For there to be "best weapons" there have to be inferior weapons. You need something to use while you're chasing the good stuff. We're going to have to give it time.

They can't give us any reason to play now beyond chasing the same weapons we already did. Everything in destiny 2 is doing the same things over and over again.

Hence why I say, just revert back sunsetting. I want to keep using my Antiope-D that took months to get to drop how I wanted it. They are just issuing the same stuff anyway. Just revert it back.
