Ever since this new update with all the weapon changes i am starting to see alot more pulse rifles in pvp and i have been getting my ass kicked by them has the pulse rifles been buffed or something?
-
2 RespuestasJust use Thorn or Crimson, they will destroy any pulse or scout rifle from across the largest maps.
-
Idk I usually see HCs like thorn, ace or prophecy. But I guess you would be dumb, if you wouldnt use them on MnK.
-
2 RespuestasThe fact that the No Time to Explain is a 2 burst kill simply disgusts me

2 RespuestasHaven’t pulses always been the meta
-
High impact ones are. They’ve been good for a while, just autos pushed into their mid range last season, and 150s were dominant at mid-close. Now with 150 hand cannons gone and autos tuned down, pulses shine in the mid range. Just competing with ace now really.
-
Vigilance wing and other high impacts had their place in the meta last season. This season came with a balance patch that nerfed hand cannons and autos, the rest of the meta, while completely ignoring pulses. Of course hand cannons and autos are still good, but pulses are marginally better from what I have seen which would make sense since they were all equal until HCs and autos were marginally nerfed. Now, if you really want to win, you put on a pulse.

They didn't receive any tuning in the last sanbox update. They have always been good, but with 150rpm hand cannons essentially gone and 600rpm autos dialed back they are now once again shining ( fairly ) in their intended range. With the range increase to hand cannons though I'm finding that good hand cannons are dominant. Honestly if they did this update with the weapon balancing and left stasis out of the crucible I think we'd have one of the best crucible experiences we've seen.
-
I’d tone down pulse rifle ttk just a tad bit for the frame that kills in .67 Most other guns are in the .8-.87 range
-
There might be a bug with adaptive frames. I've 2 bursted a few guardians without and damage perks active and I've been 2 burst at least once
-
6 Respuestas340s were buffed last season but the 600 autos outclassed them but now that the 600s were nerfed they have more time to shine they have potential to 2 burst you only if you land headshots but are easily countered by special weapons I personally use ntte and it’s good 340 but most of the time I die with it is when someone is using a special weapon like a shotgun or fusion
-
3 RespuestasSeems like 340's are the best archetype of pulses atm. I honestly thought it'll be 540 rpm pulses to be the best, But I had a lot of trouble beating 340 rpm pulses in duels. When I switched to 340, it was so much easier to win duels against other 340's.

Editado por Animal: 11/18/2020 10:34:06 PMIndirectly. With the auto and sniper nerfs they are much more in line with everything else.

2 RespuestasEditado por A_mo: 11/18/2020 8:51:05 PMI have once again fallen in love... First it was Graviton Lance. Then it was Bygones. Now, it is the glorious No Time to Explain. There's a chance that if I neglect enough of my adult responsibilities I will literally have the most Crucible kills on the planet of Earth with that gun. 1500 so far and counting. Bungie is such masters of weaponry. They deserve kudos for the way that gun came together its beautiful, well rounded, and the better shot wins with it. Absolute dream weapon. Done being a weirdo now, you can continue.

I think its because of the change to Hand cannon and 600 autos, gives them more too to shine.
-
Its not a bad Its better than a spray and pray
-
Depends which ones. High impacts and aggressives have ALWAYS been strong. With the slight nerf to 600 autos this season too I’d say adaptive are competing again too actually
-
🤷🏼♂️ dunno, not the last time I checked. But then I’m a pulse rifle user since I got red death in D1. Just seems now *most* guns can complete well in crucible.
