1 Respuestastasis is too strong rn, otherwise it’s pretty good

2 RespuestasEditado por Dominator of Oats: 11/18/2020 1:52:46 AMI think Warlock stasis is definitely too strong but even if they balance it, it gives Warlock something it has seriously lacked for quite some time which is more control over the battlefield against the high mobility of other classes. Personally, I've only played 6 matches or so, and I haven't been frozen very much. So from my early opinion, the impact of stasis seems a little overblown, although I do agree it needs to be balanced. It's a little too strong out of the gate.

mayhem is still the only mode i enjoy.

I think yes it’s hella broken being able to freeze so much I think the fist thing that comes to mind as a “fix” would be making the freeze time lower and being able to break free quicker. If they made unfreeze instant then it would kill stasis as a whole but I think it’s way to high and the damage you get when you break out is way to high.

Stasis broke it

2 RespuestasEditado por BMFBM: 11/18/2020 5:32:07 AMAggressive play is punished by a nade that can freeze you and 2 of your teammates. Matches are super slow and constantly go to time. The amount of ability spam feels like mayhem. Players throw a nade, run away, check back to see how many people they’ve frozen, and then melee once and kill however many people are frozen together. Gunplay is near obsolete. If you do actually get into a gunfight with somebody and they start losing. Here comes the uncounterable freeze nade/melee . So even if you do kill the person you’re engaged with, you’re frozen. And then one of their teammates comes along and kills you. Warlock melee is more broken than top tree dawn blade. I didn’t think that was possible. And the range on the warlock Gandalf staff thing (after being frozen) is ridiculous. Losing the ability to fight back in a game that has a sub 1 second ttk on some weapons is super frustrating. When I think of the rest I’ll add it. Ability regen seems out of control as well.

3 RespuestasSince 99% of the matches I play are still filled with slide shotty hunters I can honestly say the stasis craze hasn't hit me all that hard. It was horrible the first 2-3 days but it's died down quite a bit in my experience. (Ps4/ps5) But I'll tell you what, it sure is super satisfing to freeze those little -blam!- mid slide or mid shadestep and then punch them in their derpy faces.

what do you think? everyone everywhere is mad at stasis freeing yourself takes too long, it shouldn't damage you, melee and grenades shouldn't freeze
-
Honestly have enjoyed it since the first few weeks of D1, so no real change for me.
-
These changes should only apply to PvP: Only stasis supers should freeze players instantly. Only exception is the wall grenades if you get stuck in it. Also add a mash out mechanic to get out of stasis, instead of resilience changing your breakout speed.
-
Literal fix : 1) grenades do not freeze unless tagged by their ability for more than 1.5 seconds -2 seconds . This won't destroy pve and will allow it to be balanced in pvp. 2) freeze does not damage you to break out of . Sorry but crowd control is already game changing and unreal by itself. 3) stasis supers should under no circumstances one hit freeze another super . It should slow and add a damage buff to the subsequent detonating ability damage.

1 RespuestaStasis shouldn't freeze you for as long as it does, but other than that its fine

Editado por Spectre: 11/18/2020 3:46:43 PMIt’s bearable IMO but not anywhere near good shape because of the constant freezing but there are ways to work around the freezing supers and abilities here are some tips that have worked for me so far 1: check how many of your opponents are using stasis abilities by pulling out your ghost and looking at the team super classes up near the game score this will allow you to gauge how much freezing will happen 2: you have a good chance of being frozen if the majority of the team is using stasis supers/abilities so what has worked for me is to play more passively which isn’t that fun of a play style but if you don’t like being frozen then there you go 3: fight fire with fire use stasis yourself unless you don’t own the dlc then try your best not to 1v1 the stasis super on your own unless you have a one and done super like Golden gun (Ik it’s not a one and done but I’ll count it), nova bomb, blade barrage, and missile titan. Be aware that you can be frozen in all of these so try and get the drop on them so they have little time to react 4: use specials that have some range examples: snipers, higher range fusions and shotguns have all worked for me and have resulted in less freezing it’s a little scummy but it is what it is 5: continue to move and don’t stop moving you’re harder to hit with freezing abilities if you’re moving fast and through cover points I encourage mobility enhancing weapons/gear. Examples: lightweight frame weapons, stompee5, transversal steps or whatever they’re called(sorry warlocks help me out here) 6: Stick with a team but do not bunch up, be in the same general area as them as you can quickly take an opponent down before they get the chance to freeze if you team shoot, so if you have a friend or someone it can just be you both sticking together. Have some distance because you or you friend could have damaged an opponent but have been frozen you or your teammate can get the clean up and stay away from each other while one of you are frozen because of the aoe damage from stasis If I think of anymore I’ll come back and edit this comment, let’s hope bungie can adjust the super without taking away the unique aspect of it

It's beautiful. Some people are still holding on to their crutch weapons but for the most part everyone is using new guns. Snipers are finally in a good place. I'm not getting headshot out of existence everytime a leave a room. Stasis created a good middle ground for all the op supers of old but I agree stasis needs to be fixed. The only thing I wish they did was create new weapons for the vendor but other than that Im loving crucible. It's so much fun now.
-
It a Sci-fi shooter, the fact that abilities were included in the first place shows that it's not just about guns. The crucible has evolved in bungie's image that they wanted it to be, learn to adapt to the new mechanics and have fun with them. Camping in a corner with felwinter isn't going to cut it anymore. Use vertical elevation to avoid the stasis abilities more frequently, adapt to the new scenarios. If you want to play crucible without abilities go and play call of duty

1 RespuestaComp is so bad right now. Teams get one or two picks and hide the rest of match to win by advantage. With stasis making a push can be very hard to impossible against decent players. It’s so frustrating.

Editado por Eru Ellimist Entreri™: 11/18/2020 1:34:49 PMStasis is a lot of fun to use!
-
It perfect people in quick play just suck no jk they just rush into the game .All statis has done is slow down the pace of the game
-
They are obviously trying to get rid of it and if not then they suck at their job.
-
Hate to say it, but who needs Mayhem when we have Stasis... Just to be clear, I'm not crying or asking for a nerf. Was the first thing I thought of when I saw op's post.
-
Competitive has always been too peeky-shooty not much "raaaagh" action to be had. Quickplay is now too "raaaaaggghh-freeze-shatter" It's bad imo

Freeze tag

Meh, crucible being crucible. I suggest if you own it play some D1 pvp. It’s slower compared to D2 in a way that makes the gameplay feel more fair and satisfying. There’s no guy flying over your head or getting one shot in a melee scramble.
