I hate sunsetting for a good reason
They removed 99.9% of the useable weapons and added jack sh*t into the game
It’s idiocy and incompetence at its finest
By far one of the stupidest moves I’ve seen in my 12 years of gaming
It would have been fine had they replaced everything they removed with new weapons
But they haven’t they just added a handful of random weapons and said here you go take a pick from the trash bin
Hell they even sunset traitors fate a preorder exclusive sword
Good job ruining your own game bungie you done shot yourself in the foot this time

What sunsetted weapons were useable besides Mountain Top, Wendigo, Legendary LMGs, and possibly Recluse. But you are right they removed 6 weapons and didn't add in anything such as FILO, Falling, Long Shadow, Distant Tirmulus, Supremacy, True Prophecy, IKELOS SMG, IKELOS Sniper, Interference VI, Gnawing Hunger, Truthteller, Literally any sword, Rockets, and a lot more. WAIT....

That fact that you say "possibly" recluse either tells me A) you have no idea waht you are talking about B) you never got recluse C)You are just trolling Im going to guess A because recluse was, hands down, one of the best weapons in the game for PvE and PVP due to master of arms, and how often it got seasonal anti champion mods on it, combine that with giving it something like counter balance the thing was the go to pve weapon. Mountain top of course was Over powered but thats like saying fire is hot. Wendigo was hardly over powered at all, it was the power weapon you would use if you did not have izi, whisper, or xeno. OR if you did not grind out a raven GL with field prep spike and full court WHICH when GLs got nerfed Windigo went back to being a run of the mill GL. the only 2 legendary machine guns were still, machine guns so they were not the best pve weapons.

And they’re all pinnacle weapons. Which shows the big game design DEAD END they were, and why sunsetting is necessary.

Exit Strat, Hush, Oxygen, Loaded, Lunas/NF weren't really used in PVE by the majority of the population and also weren't really good options anyways. But I'm guessing since you cant read the last post you didn't read the TWAB that said that python isnt being sunsetted until next season (power cap of 1260) and point of stag is 1310 max power. Also I said possibly Recluse because there are better options...IKELOS Smg with a warmind build, Death Adder, Summoner, and if you really need a void option go for gnawing hunger. I said possibly recluse because it became more or less redundant due to the better weapons like stated above. But I was making the point that the majority of weapons being sunsetted weren't useful. Wendigo was amongst the better power weapons due to explosive light, autoloading, and blinding nades. There were more MGs that just 2 but the majority of the population used Hammerhead/ 21% for pve options when they wanted a MG

There are still a lot of swords, rockets, and other weapons. How often do you expand your weapon selection.

Sunsetting is a part of every loot game. Yes. Bungie WAS stupid and incompetent. Only they were that way because they thought that they could ignore that rule, and they held out for five years before finally swallowing their pride and admitting failure. They are finally doing what they should have done six years ago.

I am satisfied. Most of the sunsetted weapons weren't being used in pve. Tell me how many of the sunsetted weapons you used the majority of the time in PVE. Really it is Wendigo and Mountain Top. So 2 out of the many were gone. Bungie was tired of people using the same weapon loadout for everything. Which is why we got sunsetted. But really I cant see why you are complaining, too bad your sword is gone, get a new one. Mountain top is gone, big whoop. Wendigo is gone, who cares.

Escape Velocity, Adored, Interference Bitting Winds, Xenoclast, Falling Long Shadow, Gnawing, Thermal Erosion True Prophecy, Bone Chiller, Crowd Pleaser Breachlight, IKELOS Sniper, Subzero Salvo Lonesome, Truthteller, Bad Omens Astral Horizon, Arsenic Bite, Temptation's Hook And mix and match any of these, also all of these are legendary weapons

Thats because the majority of desitny players are entitled. They want everything to be their way and hate changes like this. I get it that I'm in the minority but I honestly cant see what the problem with sunsetting is. You cant use these 2 powerful guns in pve anymore...find new ones to use, simple. Like here's my example loadout to fix the Izinagi and wendigo loadout - Izinagi and Interference with Spike, full court. Mountain top can be replaced with a sniper with triple tap for great dps, blinding nades can be found on truthteller, you can use warmind builds with ikelos smg, charged with light builds, etc. Honestly, the majority of destiny players that complain about sunsetting used those weapons as crutches and never expanded their weapon selection.

You should make a warmind build bro, it’s hella good and satisfying to use. Might I suggest; Global reach Warminds longevity Power of rasputin Then equip any of the following; Ikelos sg Ikelos smg Ikelos sniper Seventh sereph revolver (my personal favourite) They are seriously good builds, try it 🙂
