It's cute you think bungie would care about the incredibly toxic few thousand who post here enough to waste their money on here lol.

Destiny does not have big media attention outside it's own player base, they make game trailers for already existing players.
-
Yeah, but most of the existing players aren't here, they are on reddit. You act like Bungie is some Fascist dictatorship. Get some fresh air and realise that bungie doesn't care enough about the salty forums.
Yeah, but most of the existing players aren't here, they are on reddit. You act like Bungie is some Fascist dictatorship. Get some fresh air and realise that bungie doesn't care enough about the salty forums.
Can you provide a source of evidence to back up your claim?
-
Lol so me saying that Bungie isn't paying people is the thing that requires evidence?
-
Lol so me saying that Bungie isn't paying people is the thing that requires evidence?
Your claim was that most players are on Reddit and not here. The paid for by Bungie was an obvious joke. The point that Bungie pays to advertise to existing players was a valid point. I want to know what evidence you have that most players are on Reddit and not here.
-
You should tell that to the original poster then, because if that were the case, their opinion would be as worthless to Bungie as the fake positivity they pay people for.
-
You should tell that to the original poster then, because if that were the case, their opinion would be as worthless to Bungie as the fake positivity they pay people for.
So your saying that paying someone 200 bucks to say "I like the dlc" to convince the 100 salty people here the game is amazing is the same amount of effort as saying "I like the game" Bungie doesnt care. Stop pretending like they actually care about how you post about the DLC on a dead forum. No evidence that they are paying lol just sounds like you want to feel special.

I have never seen a post go above 1k upvotes. On Reddit, you see stuff easily surpass it in a day. Bungie would rather spend that on direct advertisement than a couple salty forum joe shoes who will buy the dlc regardless.

That’s how Reddit is designed to work, popularity. Unless you can provide the data which shows the active users of both platforms then you don’t have proof, you’re just creating a scenario. That’s fine, but it’s not real. All the Reddit fans also are just players so there is no difference between advertising here or there. Do you think people accidentally end up on a games sub Reddit?

Reddit: R/DestinyTheGame has 1.8 members. The destiny 2 app on google play has 250,000 users. Apple doesn't list downloads, so I'll just guess it has the same as on google play. 500k vs. 1.8 million. I know google isn't all everyone, but still 1.8

It’s just the number of people who signed up for it. They could have all joined and never come back. Same goes for downloads, those aren’t active users. Your guess is meaningless because it’s not the number of downloads let alone the number of users. Google doesn’t help unless it gives you the number of active users for both platforms. Until you have that you are just making a claim with no evidence to substantiate it.

But amongst those two, they would have an average equal amount of representation relatively. It isn't fully complete, but unless people on reddit are four times as likely to not post, I would say reddit wins. However, neither of us can validate it, so this is a dead end. Now please tell me where your evidence for Bungie paying for positivity is.

It’s just the number of people who signed up for the sub not who use it, and the number who downloaded one version of the companion app. That doesn’t include the iOS version or players who use computers and not phones to access Bungie.net. Those are literally meaningless data points. If you don’t have the active users for both platform you claim is not validated in any way. It’s just a story you made up. I never claimed Bungie paid for positivity, I already said I knew it was a joke to you earlier in the thread.

I literally said google isnt everyone and it is rough. I know its not fully accurate. I know there aren't perfect statistics. I was just going for the closest approximation I could find. Sadly there is no statistic on how many B-Net accounts there are, believe me, I have tried. I know I'm reaching. I was just putting into perspective for the OP that Bungie doesn't care enough about this forum, as shown by the very minimal responses ever. Just at least trying to get evidence, although I haven't found success, and you are right, it isn't fully accurate.

Googling and getting no evidence doesn’t matter. All the minimal responses show that Bungie don’t prioritize player interaction, and nothing more. Unless you’re a mind reader or want to share a quote where a Bungie official said that. It’s not accurate.
-
Exactly, they don't prioritize player interaction. The point was to show that Bungie doesn't care about the forums, my point. And yes you are right, as I said, I will never be able to determine the population of each, and you are correct I cannot prove it.

Your point was they don’t prioritize it because of the user difference, which is a claim not a fact.
-
My point was to him, not to you. You are right, my argument of player difference is wrong, but the overall apathy towards this forum in regards to response is very visible, and while my original argument is incorrect, the lack of involvement with the community does subatantiate my argument to some extent. I already said you were right lol you don't need to repeat it.
-
That's because I'm being paid to do the opposite so people will defend the game. Although, "payments" are just special treatments. I've been banned so many times, but i have infinity lives so i can do whatever I want.
-
Editado por WishingForRivenTentaclesTV: 11/14/2020 5:03:14 PMSo still no evidence of payment lol. Difference between bungie exempting someone and handing out a paycheck for saying they like the game.

I've got the documents right here next to me. Several beautiful folders filled to the brim with papers and schematics the likes you most likely have never seen before.
-
Also, just so you know, a schematic is a blueprint for a model or invention, not paperwork lol.
-
Some of my invention blueprints must have gotten mixed into the folders. As well as one of my various Nobel Peace Prizes. No wonder why it's so heavy.
-
Also loved how you looked at them, told me they were there, and just now realised it after I told you. Lol makes sense.
