Still not fixed. Bungie, when will this issue be resolved. There are many frustrated people that need/want this fixed as soon as possible. It has been 2 months and no update or fix has been announced. The least you could do is give us an update about a possible date or timeline of when this will be fixed.

This is incredibly annoying. Can we please get a fix ASAP? I play the majority of the time on remote play and paid for the deluxe edition of this game.

I mentioned the same thing on Twitter, and people who plays without remote play, started calling me names like Karen and clown. I bet most of them doesn’t even know what remote play is. The think it’s a free game so it’s actually funny that I asked for refund. Decided not to talk about it anymore as of rn. I don’t even go near my PS4 cause I’ve lost the motivation.

Are you ever going to fix this issue so that I can actually play your game I paid $70 for, or are you going to give me a refund and I can just wash my hands with this bug infested franchise?

This is redonkulous, how do you set remote play for vita controls around the same time PS5 comes out but doesn't support remote play on the vita as of now. I have lots of other games and none I've found have any issues with remote play. If you allow us to manually control map we can fix it ourselves, but when I manually change it, says it's changed but then doesn't change the play. Disappointed

Also it’s funny how when there is an exploit in the game, Bungie will take that away from you and fix it instantly, but when something is broken which negatively impacts the player, they don’t fix it. Been broken for a month with still no fix. Bungie doesn’t take care of it’s fan base, only cares about them, that’s why it has lost a majority of its players and was dropped by Activision.

As of December 2nd, still not fixed! Only got to play this game for one day and it got broke the first time I tried to connect to remote via my IPad. I don’t understand how it’s so hard to fix the button mapping. Controller works fine with all other games and in the menu screen of Destiny, just not when you try to actually play it. Tried playing via remote play on my Vita, still not working. Constant bugs with this game, not worth my time anymore. Deleted of my console, they can delete my account, I don’t care anymore. Gonna stick to playing games that work. Good job Bungo!

When will this be fixed please? I have beyond light on PS4 and free destiny 2 on PC. I cant do quests if I play it on PC as kills and progress does not count even though I have beyond light on PS4. I cant play it on remote as the RL2 etc buttons don't work OR remap....

This 3.0.0.3 patch doesn't solve the remote play issue either. How long are you going to leave it? Please answer BUNGIE! I am very disappointed.

3.0.0.4 doesn’t have the fix either. I don’t think they are gonna fix it any time soon, earliest could be with the next gen patch or it might not happen before the next season.

The controls have basically been reset to those you would use when using a PS Vita, which is fine if you have a Vita but very annoying if you don’t! The Vita only has L1 and R1 which are used for ADS and shoot, and when playing D2 you need to use the touchscreen for grenades and melee. This works currently on Remote Play if you are using a touchscreen device, e.g. mobile phone or tablet. If you touch the screen near the top just left of centre you will get a grenade, and just right of centre for melee. Touch both together for your super. To sprint on the Vita you need to hold the “down” button on the D pad whilst moving the left thumb stick. This is fine on the Vita as the thumb sticks are very small and close to the D pad so you can easily do both at the same time with your left thumb. However this is not so easy on a controller and virtually impossible on a touch screen device. So basically the game is currently unplayable via PS remote play unless you have a PS Vita. Dear Bungie - please fix this ASAP for the sanity of all remote players!

not going to lie, we constantly see, we are investigating yet rarely see progress report on these items until they are fixed. Any way to get explanations on why these things happen and a projected fix timeframe.. even if it doesn't come to fruition on time, it would be nice to hear more than the typical, investigating, taking it back to devs canned responses.

I have to agree. Things that benefit guardians (like using "Widows Walk" to reach the soft cap quicker) are repaired almost immediately. However, things that totally blow up the game are "currently being investigated". yes, it may be a little harder to fix, but this is keeping alot of people from even playing so it should take #1 priority. And when you just dumped upwards of 70 bucks on a game, you at least expect to play it. I just giggle to myself when I log into the game at night and see "X has been disabled until......Y cannot be used until....the Mission Z cannot be completed due to the fact...." The game is broken in so many areas. I know it will work out, but I had to do 5 public events on the Moon last night just to get 2 to register for the daily. The event ended, we got the chest, but it never came up with the "public event complete" closeout...oh well...
