Mate, just wait till you experience some PvP
Hunters are ridiculous
Titans sponge like nothing else (and roam for ages)
The warlock one is ...again underwhelming.
Mate, just wait till you experience some PvP Hunters are ridiculous Titans sponge like nothing else (and roam for ages) The warlock one is ...again underwhelming.
LoL the Titan super is the worst of them all. My sentinel main: hit detection can’t get any worse! Bungie: watch this.... It’s a horrible. Hunter is top tier... weird. Lock super is meh but another long range melee.... And Bungie the ice walls in PvP has to go. HORRIBLE IDEA!!! THIS AINT OVERWATCH..... Oh and take high energy fire out of PvP too. You won’t allow LitC on HawkMoon but you allow HEFmods? Dafuq.....

Usually they are right about most of their trees being very weak (only like 3 truly viable trees for high level play), but they are carrying this mindset into the new subclass as well. It's like they don't realize they have the most effective melee out of all three classes. It is an ice celestial fire that literally shutdowns supers via the freeze with only one hit & killing with special and guarantees close range 1v1 victories, but will that be acknowledged? Nope. The super essentially shits on every other super that isn't a ranged super or one off super (and one off supers can still be frozen mid cast animation... meaning it's still sort of effective against them), and is still good against regular Guardians. Will that also be acknowledged? Nope. Because "wArLoCkS bAd" must apply to everything. The only thing missing is a movement ability. Otherwise, this subclass is almost top tier.

Editado por Bore: 11/11/2020 4:08:13 PMMy friends and I tested them. The hunter super could win against the warlock super. While that’s the case with roaming supers, the warlock can still freeze and win against the hunter super. When it came to the titan super, my one friend was struggling trunk and beat the warlock one. It seems like a genuinely powerful super. The “warlocks bad” mentality is to ingrained in them for them to care though.

So there's something on Warlock now that DOESN'T excell above other classes?
-
What makes Hunter ridiculous?
-
considering the state of icarus dash? -blam!-ing good.
-
No mate, If you can’t understand that warlocks deserve to have more then a single viable PvP super, you’re part of the problem.
No mate, If you can’t understand that warlocks deserve to have more then a single viable PvP super, you’re part of the problem.
The rest of the warlock pvp exotics and most subclasses are very lack luster now.

how come? what was changed?
-
why? most hunter supers are crap also. golden gun dies real easy, spectral's hit registration is abysmal. anyone can outrun arc staff so you have to pop it when you're right on somebody, tether activates usually only after you're dead. I could go on.
-
Do you know why golden gun dies easily? Hyper armor on a hitscan cross map super would be the bane of everyones existence in pvp
-
the ability to tank one shotgun round and have a little health left isnt the same as hyper armor
-
Golden gun is top tier dps. You can run an average loadout and GG will keep your dps high. Spectral is the best for sneaking and shifting map control. Yeah, sure, it’s wonky at times, but you’re gonna win a lot of fights, and slide shooters benefit from crouch headshots. Middle tree arcstrider is the most aggressive defense playstyle, that super can turn tides easily and the slide melee can shut down apes. But bottom tree? Tie that with Gemini jesters and you’re gonna confuse a ton of people, dodge, melee someone, have gamblers too so you can disorient again. I’ve had teams of three completely lost, and left for easy pickings. Blade barrage? Super is great at shutdowns, melee can hurt, not too reliable. Top tree is just the best defense playstyle, knife, tripmine, outlaw for rapid kills can easily switch sides. Hunter has a lot more viable pvp classes than warlock. As it stands, top tree dawnblade, middle tree void on warlock, everything else is sub optimal.

Editado por Part Timer: 11/11/2020 7:07:54 AMWhen you compare the hunter supers to the fact stormtrance is fantastic, middle tree void is decent in the right hands, dawnblade is fantastic. Sentinel is fantastic, sunbreaker is strong, fist is basically impossible to outrun and very strong. Compare that to a range super people can oneshot quite easily, an invisible bladedancer that takes several times to register hits, and a fantastic super like arcstrider that is still very easy to outrun and escape from. What are you left with then? Blade barrage is the most reliable super the hunters have.
-
Titan isn’t in the argument because they have more viable subclasses than warlock. Storm-trance is good only if you got groups that don’t separate with arc web, and arc soul? Runaway or double team shotgun bait, other than that? Run. The super that summons a lightning strike is nasty for surprise kills.
-
dps from golden gun doesn't matter in crucible though. This was primarily a discussion about supers in pvp. Blade barrage is probably the most reliable super for the hunter. Spectral barely registers at all when I use it. Even on non super guardians, it takes three or fours fast swipes to register. Middle tree void is definitely not bad. I have and regularly wipe teams with voidwalker. It's the most interesting, and rewarding super imo.
-
Golden Gun is incredibly potent as long as the user isn’t a literal trog. Arc staff and spectral are some of the best roamers.
-
While he is a idiot when it comes to golden.. he isn’t lying about spectral. Hit register has become a big mess for some players. I myself find that I’m having to hit someone 2 to 3 times for a kill to work in pvp. At that point your super is nearly gone so 👀. While it is still potent in overall pvp the hit register needs some love 🤣
-
Hit registration isn’t some special spectral issue. It’s iffy at times for literally anything melee based.
-
It’s needs some love.. Period. We will just leave it at that and agree to disagree 🤷🏼
-
whenever i use spectral i have to hit them four or five times for it to register. yes, what an amazing super. use up half your energy on one kill.
-
Exaggerating/bullshitting doesn’t really help you out my guy.
-
I didn't exaggerate anything, you moron. try using it in crucible for a couple hours. I'm not your guy.
-
Dang. Sounds like you don’t like being called out, my dawg.
