Not as attention grabbing....[/quote] Spare me the Fox News version, and answer my simple question. Bungie has made full announcements of changes coming to the game with Beyond Light. We don’t have to know every single thing about the story or play the changes to discuss that. What is irrational about discussing what information has been released? 1. No one has to know what is ALL in it to discuss what HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED. 2. They don’t have to tell us everything to discuss what they have told us. 3. The price is irrelevant to discussing what they have told us. Unless you want to discuss the price I guess. If you do you’re failing to mention that the Forsaken seasons couldn’t be purchased for $10 each they had to be purchased for $30 to play the first season before anything was announced for the seasons and that decision was so disliked that Bungie changed future seasons to be $10 sold separately. 4. No one has to PLAY all the changes to discuss what has been announced. There is nothing irrational about players discussing what changes have been announced.

So we can indeed have an informed discussion about those announcements. 1. On the topics created when Bungie made announcements we absolutely are. Are you saying it’s irrational to discuss the hand cannon changes that were announced? Of course it’s not. We are fully informed about the changes. 2. Not necessarily, and when your personal measure of sucres is to compare apples to oranges I’m not sure why you would think it’s irrational to discuss THE ANNOUNCED CHANGES which is what I am talking about. 3. Great. What does that have to do with you saying it’s irrational to discuss the announced changes? It’s not irrational to discuss announced changes.

Hand waving it away because the game hasn’t launched yet doesn’t matter because we already have the officially announced changes to discuss. Characterizing the players having discussions about them as irrational is disrespectful. There isn’t a problem with discussion officially announced changes. What are we supposed to do just dream up situations where Bungie didn’t screw the game up for the majority of players and pretend they won’t continue to do so with no indication it will change? I guess you have answered by trying to talk around it. It’s not irrational for players to discuss announced changes, and you were wrong to say they were.

It is an all or nothing issue. We have some pieces to the puzzle but not enough to see the full picture. So the only way to see is to play it.
