It’s already restrictive some guns are just better there is no getting around that and if you opponents have it you’d be doing yourself a disservice to not use the same. Is that not restrictive in your eyes as well?

Yea you can use whatever you want but my point that you seem to be missing is that if you’re in a competitive game mode people will use whatever is the best. Which forces people to use certain guns to not put themselves at a disadvantage.

That is the point of the post the whole reason behind suggesting what I suggested is to curb the arms race that is going on and balance the arena. People are forced to use the same few weapons so as not to put themselves as a disadvantage having everyone chose from weapon a family gives the players a choice while keeping the arena balanced. If you want that balls to the wall no holds barred that’s what quick play is for in comp it should be a controlled environment to foster player growth and competition.
