It's set in a world between worlds. One idea for that area is likely gonna be named the between. But I feel like it's cringey.

“The Between” sounds fine to me. I think add the word “World” in there, though. “The World Between”. “The World Caught Between”, if you want to make it longer. Gives it a “World That Never Was” feeling, which is a compliment! I love that place!

I disagree, I think it sounds great, mon amie! As I said, it makes it sound like The World that Never Was. When I first saw that title, I instantly fell in love with the place. I personally like “The World Caught Between”, myself, though! Being wordy, but also vague, gives it a sense of mystery!

The setting took some inspiration from othercide, most notably the memories made flesh idea, but meshed together with some other concepts to make something unique that hopefully won't retcon everybody's stuff. The current iteration is planned to have a villain with a lingering impact in the formless story arc.
