Why do all the machine have a power cap of 1060
I want to know why please don't tell me all 7 of the legendary machine guns are going away with beyond light I really want a 1360 hammerhead

3 RespuestasWhy are people asuming that a single gun in your inventory drops you down to like 1060 entirely, even though your other slots might be maxed out with the new Beyond Light gear? I hardly doubt the new Raid, for example, uses the absolute maximum pinnacle power cap. It will only be hard on the first day because of the competition modifier. One piece of gear will not dumb you down to unplayable spaces for all BL activities. So all the stuff after Shadowkeep will still be a viable option till Season 13 eventually.

I’m hoping they will at least add 1 Legendary Machine Gun in Beyond Light. At this point, the only Machine Gun I even use is Xenophage.

I think you know this, but the power cap for weapons being sunsetted is entirely season based. There is one legendary machine gun not being sunsetted though. Its currently unobtainable, but the Seventh Seraph SAW will not be sunsetted next season and has a power cap of 1310

9 RespuestasSeventh Seraph SAW isn't, but unfortunately it's pretty bad and not worth using compared to our other heavies. In any case, they're going away because fun or time invested doesn't actually work with "we want you to build your perfect monster killing machine" plan they had for us

That level cap is determined by when the weapon was introduced to the game. The only weapons that have a 1360 cap are legendaries that were part of the Seasonal lootpool for Season of the Worthy and Season of Arrivals...... ....and raid weapons. So there is no 1360 Hammerhead....and I think the only legendary LMG you can get that has a chance of being 1360 is the one you can get from focusing an Umbral Engram. Its a reissue from Season of the Undying, and its not very good I'm afraid. But as people said below, you'll be able to use your HH in everythng but raids, dungeons, Nightfalls, Trials, and Iron Banner.

I may be wrong, but more than 50% of the game is being trashed for.... ? I even gave up on power level. Every season is a reset. It's extremely grindy and awfull for..... ?????? ALl my gear and weapons are lost with sunset. Why chase weapons and gear when next season comes with "new stuff" and nerf old gear? I play solely for the cosmetics now. NO, not eververse, but getting gear that i like the design and use it for crucible.... or at least was what i've been doing till they buffed the autos into this non sense. Now all i do is wait weekly reset to farm bright dust, look the cosmetics, and log off. I fear that i spend more time on the forums than on the actual game.

Seventh seraph saw. If you still have one, or picked one up in the past that is. I have one with firing line, pretty decent and will last a long time.

Don’t worry, Hammerhead will be back unchanged again next season, probably with blast furnace and ringing nail. It’s way easier then making a new ones. They could bring any number of machine guns back I guess but that one has ornaments that e-verse can sell so that is the one that will come back. Yay!!!!!! grinding for the same rolls all over again.

Confirmed in beyond light 'Hammerhead Unchained' it goes to 1360 and is a super rare drop from strikes. Looks exactly the same as now, but has a flashy new beyond light icon on its thumbnail.

16 RespuestasHeyo! You will still be able to use 1060 weapons like your hammerhead in strikes and crucible. You just won't be able to use it in some of the LL-enabled activities, like IB/Trials and the new raid.

The saw machine gun from season of the worthy has a cap of 360 if you have it. If not well your sol. Sorry but I'm sure come beyond light theyll add a world machine gun and raid machine gun for sure.

New quest will come up and they will call it hammerhead 2.0. They even won’t try to hide their laziness when it comes to sunsetting.
