The smothering of Warlocks
Since the announcement of the stasis abilities and furthermore with the recent exotics showcase, it was made clear that Bungie is deliberately trying to suffocate the already small existence of Warlocks amongst the pvp population. The lack of crucible-focused gear offers no competitive symmetry against our counterparts, which makes me fearful for the heterogeneity of crucible when Beyond Light launches.

Imagine if the damage bonus from the helmet allows dawnblade to oneshot other supers. I'm almost positive there will be cry for nerfs if that happens.

Solar titans get this for racking up kills with solar abilities on middle tree. More melee range? (Mostly fixed now just an example) Ophidian aspects for the Warlocks. Deadly reach for hunter free in a subclass. Frontal assault for titans, free in a subclass. OHK melee? Winters guile for warlocks, increased damage after getting a melee kill with the worst melee class in the game. 2 for hunter, a throwing knife and chaining arc melee kills to ramp up damage and keep it. Pretty much 1 subclass tree for Arc, Solar, and Void on titans, sythoceps and worm gods caress as extra options. Btw hhsn is a warlocks only means to use a OHK ability and you can kill yourself with it? Whose idea was that? Tldr version is this, Hunters and Titans have much better offensive abilities than us Warlocks. If you want to fix any problems on the Warlock you have to either hope that it gets fixed eventually or use what I call a "band-aid exotic" to fix one of their many pvp shortcomings. Most problems that the warlocks have are in pvp. We're great in almost any pve environment though. And if you do find any really good warlocks in pvp its because those players have found ways to adapt to the many shortcoming of being a warlock in a pvp enviornment. Sorry for my big wall of text.

3 RespuestasBump. People making fun of op here citing top tree dawn didn't play warlocks before that rework to see they were certainly NOT the competitive pvp class before it. Hunters have been the pvp go to since day 1 D1, with titans having their own moments here and there, but warlocks have next to never been as viable as they are now. If you think that double air dodge is op then just think about stomp-ee5 instantly skyrocketing you above anyone instantly, twice midair, with no cool down. Everybody cries nerf warlocks the moment they are anywhere above the bottom, and bungie listens every single time. Think about Nova warp release, a class that was rightfully nerfed, but wrongfully decimated less than a month after release because it make warlocks better than hunters, which is a big no no.

3 RespuestasYou're just trash tier trash if you think warlocks aren't top tier for PvP. They are THE PvP class. And THE pve class. They're so busted and stacked. Solar plexus, double air dodge, double ranged tracking exploding melee, regen health around a corner, get across the map faster with 1 mobility than a hunter with 10 mobility. Warlocks are busted phugs.
