How about leave snipers the -blam!- alone and get off your easy mode shotgun rushing.
Cap the shit out of shotgun range.

Sniping is easier than shottying. Literally ask anyone who plays this game on a competitive level. Ps. Shotguns are already capped, you hit immunes right after drop off begins. But you'd know that if you actually played this game.

If I snipe I get roughly 3-5 snipes a game. If I shotgun I can get over 10 kills a game easy. Had a guy in crucible in my lobby for 2 games and all he did was shotgun rush! Checked destiny tracker first game he got 35 kills! 24 with shotgun 2 with primary next game he got 42 kills 36 with shotgun 1 with primary. Shotgunning is a joke lol

Shotgunning in sixes against not so good/ not well coordinated players is really easy. Against someone who actually has awareness and back pedals it's not so much. I see these kinds of guys who have their shotgun out 100% of the game and easily shut them down by just back pedalling and shooting them with a primary.

Immune? No. Little damage? Sure. I mean if range was already capped on shotguns explain how felwinters can shoot at the range of a legendary slugger and still get a kill 90% of the time. They already nerfed rapid fire snipers so they cant two shot bodyshot without any extra damage perks like high impact reserves. Rapid fire and adaptive frame cant even ohk headshot supers unless your using golden gun cause anything can kill a Goldie easy. Sunsetting is getting rid of pratically all the snipers you -blam!- about revoker, beloved. Whisper and izanagis have been nerfed. And lastly if snipping is so easy why doesnt everybody do it? And dont use that excuse in high competive play people snipe. Guess what people still use shotguns and fusions too but they dont require a headshot just run slide pull trigger that's about all the process ot takes to use a shotgun or a fusion. Sniper aim get headshot if you happen to have someone in view Camp a lane that some idiot (proably you) runs down continously. Hope flinch doesnt screw you especially from a spam firing auto user from across the map.

Ok buddy I pulled your stats and let's just say I'm not going to even need to back up my original comment lmao. Next time you're simping after cammycakes, Buttwipe, drewsky, panduh or frosbolt , do ask them what do they think. Spoiler alert: I already did it for you and they all replied that shotgunning take more skill. Some said a tiny bit and some (Cammy) said a lot more.

Pfft having to use youtubers to say shotguns take more skill? Yeah...the same guys spamming autos all over the place using mapping shotgun felwinters and suros or gnawing summoner with astral. Shotguns have never required any form of skill. Run, slide shoot. If you think they require skill your just not using a shotgun right plain and simple. Oh I'm gonna pull your stats. Yeah since I do try to not use the easy meta of gnawing summoner or suros and shotgun and use shit like dire thorn distant tumulus bite of the fox travelers chosen nature of the beast nation of beasts just to name a few weapons I use that make me not a braindead spammer of bullets and sliding jumping around shotgunning 90% of the time.

Oh and you asked before why doesn't everyone snipe if it's so easy... Bro, do you play this game? It's much more likely to match 3 snipers in a trials or comp match than it is to match 3 shotguns. Why? Aping gets you killed, since a vast majority actually has a functioning brain and easily counter mindless apes. But I guess that doesn't include you 🤭

And yet you quote how big youtubers and streamers say shotguns require skill. (Which is proably not taking it sarcastically like they were being.) Also I know frostbolt I've played with the guy from time to time and even he says shotgunning is easy has always been easy. Talk about how in comp and trials people use snipers. Maybe depending on the type of map but your going to try and snipe in exodus blue? Nah your going to shotgun or bastion and stay inside areas where it's hard to snipe people. Go ahead grab a distant tumulus into a crucible match and see how well you do against a bunch of autos and shotguns running around. Go into a trials or come match and only use a sniper and see how well you actually do. Most people use shotguns because it's easier to hide behind a corner and bait people than it is to ads a lane and leave your flank open.
