3 RespuestasEditado por Ghostfire239: 10/5/2020 7:09:51 PMSunsetting has killed my Destiny grind. I hardly care about new weapons now. I also don’t even care about the perks anymore. I just look at the power level, if its higher I’ll use it and if not I dismantle it.

Buff sunrising?

1 RespuestaSunsetting... I would not mind it if armour wasn't included as the weapon retirement idea was sound. But when they added armour... I just thought. What was the point.

2 RespuestasAll sunsetting does is cut the value of every pursuit in the game. It makes every grind feel less worthwhile because you know no matter how great the gun is at some point it will be worthless. It honestly is the worst idea because it undercuts the core gameplay loop of collecting. The cuts to content though is what is causing me to jump off the D2 train and ive put 2k hours into destiny 2. Its a sad time to be a fan.

5 RespuestasBuff sunsetting, delete all our gear, we need full reset.

32 RespuestasEditado por NVMYGT: 10/6/2020 8:03:30 AMAfter season 12 starts we will only have 1 legendary LMG and 1 Linear Fusion rifle. I hope they have a plan to offset the 400 weapons we are about to lose

Bruh I leave the forums for like 3 days and just got the feeling of “hmmm I wonder what the forums are talking about” “it couldn’t still be about sunsetting” and of course the top post is to take out sunsetting and not something cool

1 RespuestaSunset my gear, sunset my business.

3 RespuestasFor all the believers - you really think BL is going to make up for all this taken out of end game? https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/ia90ri/semimassive_breakdown_of_nonsunsetting_weapons/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf And with power levels increasing with new seasons / releases, you think this shallow-ass loot pool is going to be interesting or worthwhile? Play casual, don’t masterwork, play less.

2 RespuestasBump. I am excited to revisit destiny in 4k but i still cant pull the trigger on a purchase because sunsetting just feels like the last straw for me.
-
2 Respuestas"Nerf Sunsetting"? Um, no no no. It's pronounced, "KILL Sunsetting. KILL IT WITH FIRE." #SunsetSunsetting

8 Respuestas400 weapons are being made useless, as well as several armor sets, to be replaced by a handful of new stuff... Why not just let us use everything we want still, and infuse everything to an endless power cap, power creep is bungie propaganda.
-
18 RespuestasBorderlands sunsets your gear with every DLC and somehow they still have a community. I think we'll be fine.
-
8 RespuestasSunsetting killed my addiction for the game.
-
They can’t, because they haven’t made shit to compensate.
-
7 RespuestasThey should just sunset the mtntop and lunas and be done with sunsetting.

4 RespuestasEditado por Kurama: 10/5/2020 12:45:03 PMIn destiny 1 when taken king came out everything from y1 was sunset except exotics. People forget that and act like sunsetting is a new thing. It allowed new weapons to become meta instead of the same stuff for another 2 years. Also it curbed power issues with certain weapons. (The issue back then was elemental primaries were so much better than everything else you could take) Were people upset that they couldn’t take fatebringer into y2, yeah, but it was good for the game. Now the issue is there’s really powerful meta weapons like mountaintop recluse etc which are better than anything else in slot and unless you want power creep in order to get people to use something else, just saying bye to them will make the meta change because you can’t bring them into a new raid for example. And that’s a good thing.

How do you remove something in the game that hasn't happened yet?

Sunset nerfing
-
17 RespuestasEditado por Phenix0heat: 10/5/2020 12:32:18 AMI'm 100% percent okay with sunsetting. I think it's a much better option then nerfing things to the ground. Edit: to everyone saying destiny will never remove nerfing, yea im well aware. It's "nerfing to the ground" i said specifically, in which I mean nerfing something multiple times over the course of multiple months. Of course regular nerfs will still be a thing.

While I agree, I accept sunsetting is staying. So therefore I use the gear that drops, never grind for better gear, and never spend more money on the game going forward. Bungie doesn't want me to have memorable gear to care about.

Calling a whambulance for you.

Thankful and looking forward to the sunset.

8 RespuestasI don't see the appeal in using the same weapons for everything all the time. I don't want to use Izi/Recluse/Guillotine for everything. I don't like seeing mountaintop and gnawing hunger in every comp/trails game. I'm glad sunsetting is a thing because it makes people try out new builds and step out of their stupid little cheese shell. Bungie wants destiny to go the MMORPG route, and having a sandbox that lets you use the same 3 weapons for everything (and succeed) will make the game stale. If sunsetting wasn't a thing people would always complain and say things like "It's not as good as mountaintop, give us good guns." It also phases out pinnacles from the meta, pinnacles where to powerful and there was no substitute, it made the PvE and PvP meta stale, it rewarded you for using low skill and overpowered weapons. This will spice things up and make people actually play the game how bungie intended. Plus it will be fun to see just how good people really are at the game when they don't have their crutches. If you can't handle a game that will keep changing, then don't play. It's that simple.
