The average player and above wanted cbmm, whether they knew it or not.

Na you wanted cb since most the pro-cbmm people I see downvoting all sbmm topics are 1% players. It's hilarious how ya think you know what good for other players when you dont care bout the rest just yourselves. See ya dont even want one sb game mode yet cb has died out the player base like ya say sb did. Simple middle ground would be to have one 6v6 and comp be sb and the rest can be cb but ya would -blam!- about that too.

But, ELO is tracked seasonally, and your Iron Banner ELO is up over 1000 points from last season. This says that you are facing far easier competition than you did before, not that you are getting that much better.

Plus I actually care for the mode. There was no reason for me to play before, especially with SBMM where matches took like 5-10min to find and were populated with sweats from China. No doubt about it though, the competition is easier than it was before in Iron Banner, because I am actually facing a range of people. But I also face better players too. IB as a mode sucks. My QP KD has only gone up by like .03 or something. I was at 1.7~ previously.

Yeah and KD doesnt really mean anything once you go slightly above 1 lol. The only proper measurement of skill once you reach the expected values (positive kd, etc) is to watch gameplay.

Then why care if theres a 6v6 thats sb since you aren't a 1% player.

Because it will split the playerbase again, widen the skill gap (so people like you will complain even more when stepping into stuff like trials), and sbmm is bad for the majority.

I have no issue with splitting the player base if it means players can play the game modes and with they type matchmaking they want to play. It lets players avoid routine roflstomping if they chose. You like CBMM. I get it. So- you play that mode and let people who want SBMM play that game mode. You and the sweats are happy because you can play CBMM and the people who chose SBMM can enjoy that crucible experience as well.

So go play the sbmm modes if you want, you want to only face your peers which is considered competitive matchmaking so go play the competitive playlists Casual 6vs6 is for casual matchmaking

Terrible alternative. They have to put CBMM in for years to make people realise why it's better it seems... I cannot fathom how people want sbmm in Destiny 2 of all things

It is one of the most casual and easiest games on the market. The difference between being bad and being good is common sense. There is no "skill" to even base it off of.

Not split when there is one option. Those that arent in the top 30% that are barely playing dont deserve to dictate how pvp should work cause they obviously dont put the effort in. Bad players will choose sbmm because it will be easier for them. Doesnt make it better.

No you just cant except that sb is the preferred game style and will lose your easy kills. There's a reason sb is the go to mode fot most pvp games it allows people to get better at own speed instead of it being forced. The fact you believe any game should cater to any specific group of people is stupid.

SBMM has been added in popular shooters and everyone hates it. See a pattern? I'm also not sure where my easy kills are? They are just more consistent for the most part. My stats havent changed too much cause I can actually chill now
