Snipers in general:
- Remove bullet magnetism entirely
- Minimum zoom is 45
- Flinch compounds and is only going in a single direction
- Reduce bodyshot damage (high impacts at what medium impacts currently are)
- Remove snapshot and Opening Shot
They're fully uncounterable and need desperately to be PvP nerfed.

NGL bruh you sound like a shotgun ape rn. Unless you play on PC snipers aren't that good. Even revoker, sniper hit boxes or not that big either. Now flinch is a problem and needs to be fixed and snipers should all have a default zoom in agree but not no 45. That's just garbage. Unless you're on a big map 45 zoom will be a huge hindrance. Unlike shotguns snipers actually do require a level of skill to use. In fact unless you're using revoker or beloved literally almost all snipers are garbage in pvp unless you count izanagi with honed edge but again still not viable because of the zoom.

i agree with a flinch rework and a aim assist drop, but removing Snap/opening shot is too far, and capping a scope at 45 is also too far. i main snipers, and i think the biggest problems are flinch not working as it should and them being a little too forgiving, having said that, i also advocate for quickdraw to be removed from BOTH snipers and shotguns, they’re meant to be big powerful weapons, we shouldn’t be pulling them out instantly

While we’re at that, can we remove Quickdraw from shotguns? Nothing like getting one shot in the middle of a primary fight that makes me want to play crucible.

People complain about range etc on shotguns but range isn’t an issue at all, but someone hitting Q shift and mouse 1 mid primary fight to whip out their felwinters in 2 frames and dump truck you is seriously annoying. I understand that it’s a technique that has a bit of a skillgap and that it doesn’t work in every situation but it’s just not fun to deal with, and doing it myself feels scummy because it makes me feel like I need to just hit my primary shots.

Yes, I agree with that one. Snapshot and Threat Detector are fine, but QD is a smidge too good in PvP. I also don't think the PvE only crowd would really raise hell, since QD generally isn't super useful in PvE lol

Not at all. Shotguns if anything take the most skill. Sniper hitboxes are the size of a truck, anyone half experienced in fps games will never miss with a sniper in destiny. Coming from someone with almost 30,000 sniper kills, they are broken in their current state.

I'd agree if they didn't have bullet magnetism, and were contestable. And shotguns need some reworking (more damage less range, like... 6 meters but max impact is about 30-35 per pellet). Currently, they're arguably fine.

No blueberry is a threat with a sniper. There’s a huge difference between a player who is a really good sniper and a player who can’t hit a headshot to save his life. Also if your running into sniper lanes that’s your fault not Revoker.

If by "sniper lanes" you mean literally any sightline that's outside of shotgun range... Yes, it's kind of hard not to, telling me not to do that is telling me to camp a short hallway with a shotgun, or 3 peek with a sword or emote, which is a complete different can of worms (and an exploit, if you ask me). And it's not hard to get good with snipers considering they're impossible to properly fight and getting a bodyshot allows for super easy cleanup, especially on high impacts, and shooting shoulder pads will frequently give the OHK to you.

About 85% of maps cater to shotguns and fusions yet snipers are OP 🤔🤔🤔 you realise you have to actually aim for the head unlike other special weapons. Surely you should be complaining about the completely broken erentil or bastion range instead?

If Fusions has about double their current range and less charge time, but not currently... And no, most maps have a few areas that are "shotgun." In terms of maps that entirely pander to shotguns... I don't agree with those map choices other than equinox, fortress and half of midtown the others simply have a singular long range lane. Just because there is a lane that snipers use doesn't make it a "sniper" map. Regardless of long lanes such as equinox you will more often than not get shafted by scout or pulse players at long ranges and in the closer quarters engagements by slideshotgunned by an ape from your local zoo. And that fact you're defending some of the most broken guns in erentil and bastion is a joke, next you'll be saying arbalest is balanced. In game modes like trials or even competitive fusions can be literally unplayable but yet you still seem to think that snipers are broken.

Usage statistics and the fact that they're the slowest, least mobile special weapons that have consistency issues via their spread proved that [i]before[/i] they were nerfed to the fringes of usability (not being good, being anywhere close to [i]usable[/i] outsideof meming with bad weapons). Bastion is also fine, problem with that is that traditional fusions have zero upside because their range for overnerfed by about 15-20 meters. And no, Arbalest needs to stay where it is beyond the hitbox being too big. These long sightlines are designed for long range weapons and typically the other 3/4 of the map has tight corridors and lots of obstacles designed for short range weapons. (Twilight gap, emperor's respite, javelin 4, banner fall etc) I do understand your arguement about flinch and I think the more damage the sniper has taken the more severe the flinch for example, an auto beaming the dude sniping in the head within its optimal range so flinch more so than when it is out of its exented range. Isn't leaving arbalest as is sort of counter intuitive to your arguement it basically does what you find op in snipers but is a hundred times easier to use. Also to go back to the original post on revoker the perk should be reworked to headshots refund ammo since in competitive game modes your at a big disadvantage if you choose not to use it.

If you make the zoom 45 or over they will die. And if flinch works as intended then flinch from anything full auto needs to be tuned down
