How do people still not know the mechanics for the Taken Howler boss?? 😭
It's not like it's the first ever week that we've had it 😶😶😶😶

I was with a great group yesterday. We had them together, shields down. But we all kept getting stomped away and either killed or stomped a million miles away. We ran out of time and failed. The range on the stomp mechanics, hell the stomp mechanism in general is so annoying at this point. I turned off my PS after that. I was too disgusted.

1 RespuestaI actually rage quit due to these bosses. Everytime I got them close together I got slammed 50ft into the air and launched across the map and of course the knight chases me and gets his shield back. Happened like 4 times in a row and I just shut my pc off lol

i have learned this. when boss spawns move out of battlefield and let the messers get killed or stomped. wait for when they move together and dump your dps. move away and repeat. when there are no guardians on the field they will migrate together.

I hate that Taken Knight you have to get to the boss. I’ll be leading him to the boss and he’ll pause to do the fire spew and chase some Guardian running the other way. That little -blam!- is so annoying

2 RespuestasHad someone pop a thundercrash on the boss while it was nowhere near the blade... I lost braincells watching it happen.

My favorite is when the little one gets caught on a stiff blade of grass or a slippery pebble and does that little [i]forever hop[/i], softlocking the entire encounter until time runs out.

It gets pretty dumb at times. Had one where about 5 different people completely spread out around the perimeter of the vex "pit" the entire boss phase and failed it.

1 RespuestaA [i]friend of mine[/i], when he's in a bad mood (maybe because someone take his bloom when dunking multiple time, or when at the boss, some people shot in all direction), sabotage on purpose the boss by luring him [i]away[/i]. It's stupid, but well, the mechanics allows one idiot guardian to fail the events, so why not.
