I mean, that's why I think the Cross idea(or whoever had the idea) of turning the Farm into the "in game activity hub and tutorial area" for new players is a really solid idea. It gives a baked in area relevance that it otherwise will never have again, and it's a place you can land brand new players and you can tell them "OK. You've never ever played Destiny before in your life. This is what a Strike is. This is what a Nightfall is. In Destiny we have Dungeons which are basically 3 man mini raids, with more complicated mechanics and cool epic set pieces than Strike story missions, if you to go the back of the barn that's the Dungeon section. Over here is the Raid section, this is what Raids are in Destiny and how they work. Raids are end game content and too mechanically complicated to be played without a mic, so here's a link to the Destiny 2 Discord Raid Sherpa LFG, so we can find you someone ready and willing to teach you mechanics." I dunno. It just strikes me that a game with modes and systems that are juuuuuuuust complicated enough that optional tutorials would be welcome... Like, I LOVE Gambit. I think it's awesome and fun and what Destiny multiplayer should have always been. But there's nothing else in gaming quite specifically like Gambit. There's a LOT about Gambit I have to teach people who have never played Gambit. Why is that MY job to sell Bungies game to my friends? Shouldn't BUNGIE sell Bungies game??
