How was it reverted when your year 1 gear is still capped?
How was it reverted when your year 1 gear is still capped?
Its reverted when they bring it back proving it wasnt a problem to begin with
-
Do you know what "revert" means?
-
Sounds like a cop out or did you think I wouldnt notice? Were all those Y1 guns uninfusable? Did that change when they were brought back and could be? I call that reverting
-
Were all those Y1 guns uninfusable?
Yes.
Did that change when they were brought back and could be?
No. That's my point. They didn't revert the sunsetting. The gear that was capped is still capped to this day.
-
Because it gave them extra gear for players to regrind, doesn't change the fact that they retired gear then brought it back which implies the original retirment was a mistake
-
If the original retirement was a mistake, they wouldn't have kept them retired.
If the original retirement was a mistake, they wouldn't have kept them retired.
It clearly was a mistake if they brought them back, as to why they didnt let you infuse Y1 stuff 1) They felt the change wasn't easy, coding isn't simple and 2) Players having to regrind for old conent is free extended player time for bungie

-
For the millionth time, the gear that was intended to remain in year 1 for good did remain in year 1 for good. For the thousandth time, D1 didn't "bring back" its year 1 gear one time. Year one gear was constantly reissued throughout years 2 & 3, since literally the first day of TTK.
For the millionth time, the gear that was intended to remain in year 1 for good did remain in year 1 for good.
All the Y1 favorites were returned because it had been a mistake, dunno why you're trying to argue that ldr5001, longbow, devil you know, cryptic dragon, hopscotch, etc
For the thousandth time, D1 didn't "bring back" its year 1 gear one time. Year one gear was constantly reissued throughout years 2 & 3, since literally the first day of TTK.
Outside exotics it brought it back in about 2 batches: april update and age of triumph, "reissuing" and bringing back are the same thing so again not sure what you're arguing
-
Re-issued =/= reverted & what do you mean "outside exotics"? Do you just not count exotics as sunset & re-issued gear or something?
-
Re-issued =/= reverted
It does - reissuing shows they felt it was a mistake and that was the solution they went with
& what do you mean "outside exotics"? Do you just not count exotics as sunset & re-issued gear or something?
Not as much as the legendaries seeing that most were infusable day 1 of ttk
-
Oh cool. You should tell everyone on the forums that Bungie put those arrivals logos on old gear because they felt capping the ones we already have is a mistake lol
-
I know reading is hard but when I wrote earlier that a one time revert isnt the same as doing something year after year you should have paid attention
