Backstory - Day 1er for D1, did VoG, Crota, Taken, PoE all within first week so this won’t be my first raiding rodeo, unless they changed dramatically in D2. So here’s my question..
Is my light (1012) high enough for all the raids except for the most current one? Would like to get some clears before they go poof.
I also noticed LFG is a tad bit better this go around and saw gamer tags with a mic icon, can this be used as a chat rather than let’s say party chat on console?

4 RespuestasI am happy to show you the mechanics. I stream the Moments of Triumph raids on Xbox and help people through on Sundays, 12-5pm UK / 7am-12pm EST. I talk through the encounters and mechanics so feel free to jump in and watch and ask any questions. If you were on Xbox I would help! www.twitch.tv/Jonty28

5 RespuestasI'm in a similar boat to you, found out destiny 2 was free so I went and bought d1 so I could follow along with the story and understand everything that happened, didn't do any raids in d1, just the campaigns, not sure how to go about raiding or how I need to prepare myself for it

6 RespuestasThey all are pretty straightforward once you get the mechanics, and have good call outs. I’d suggest something with a repeating mechanic, like Scourge, or even maybe last wish if you understand the symbols and have good callouts

1012 is high enough for all 7 raids
-
11 RespuestasThe highest enemy in a raid currently is 960, bro 1012 is good enough for everything

1 RespuestaWhich system? Im on all 3. Lots of raid experience. I'll help you out. Most D2 raids are pretty easy
-
You're good! Any lfg groups asking for higher power are just utter idiots.
-
1 RespuestaPretty sure you're good for all raids light level wise I'd suggest getting whisper of the worm/xenophage and a whirlwind blade sword a couple add clearing weapons (gnawing hunger and the ikelos smg is good as well) and a decent special ammo sniper and you will be a helpful raid team member rather than a liability

1 RespuestaRegarding party chat vs in-game chat - most everyone uses the PS4 chat. Higher quality plus can join people without having to ‘friend’ them first.

8 RespuestasIf you have the ability to get 2 weapons before you raid, I would highly suggest them as they’re staple meta weapons for most raid boss fights. Whisper of the Worm (found by completing the secret event on IO in Lost Oasis) And Xenophage (a quest that involves a bit of puzzling around the moon and a dungeon run, but can realistically be done in an hour or 2)

1 RespuestaEditado por f3: 7/28/2020 3:58:27 PMThe chat icon is just letting you know that the guy has a mic. When you join a group, it has you choose one of your characters and mark whether you have a mic.
-
2 RespuestasYour light is high enough for every raid, including the newest. If you are on PC i'd be down to help but it seems youre on console.

1 RespuestaEditado por Bumblebee793: 7/28/2020 2:55:33 PM1012 should be enough. Just check the recommended power and it should give a good estimate of how high power you need to be. As for your second question, yes those icons show if someone is using a Mic and it can be used rather than party chat. Edit: actually, is the Mic icon in game or on the app? The app doesn't have a chat option but there is one in-game.
