At least that way cheaters wouldn't be able to use Smurf accounts
New lights dont have rights

1 RespuestaThey recently came out with a cook book. I wonder if it has a half baked trials recipe?
-
nah bungie needs to spend more money solving cheaters they are literally budget capping it which has let it grow out of control there are other online pc shooters that have largely solved cheating, no reason bungie can't do so
-
New lights should not have so many rights.Banner and Trials should have been paywalled as well along. The only thing that the new lights should have free it should have been the Red War campaign and a portion of EDZ to patrol into.
-
The only thing Bungie cares about is pure volume of accounts. The player experience is a secondary, probably tertiary objective of theirs.
-
Cheaters will probably be able to overcome the paywall easy by selling carries and stuff like that. Honestly bungie should one of these two things...not both because thats what trials and PvP is right now. 1. Make the PvP cater to hardcores and sweats 2. Make the PvP cater to more casual players. This game basically a see-saw and everytime bungie does something that makes it lean to one side the other side demands stuff to be changed to cater to them. Thats why PvP and the game in general is such a mess because bungie can't pick a side

12 RespuestasEditado por Tru-Zrue: 7/28/2020 10:12:15 PMNew light should have just been a demo mode where players playing for free only get access to patrols, regular TDM, and two strikes. New light was a big mistake right along with Adding PC. PC will always find a way to cheat. And before you trigged PC kids say "console players cheat too" cheating has gone waaaaaay up since PC and new light was added. Add cheating and the kid mode easy gameplay (no recoil), now the games a shit show..... somehow for everyone.
😈
1 RespuestaI know an even better option, just get rid of trials and comp
-
Agree! -power level is a joke. Not only in trials but in the whole game. The power level system is just silly. And 100 % doesn`t belong in trials. -cheaters -only sniper camp and sword peak. Slow and boring. - only the same 3-4 meta weapons all the time. Zero fun for me. All the things I hate in the PvP mixed in the same place.

5 RespuestasEditado por Infamous067: 7/28/2020 3:48:51 PMThere is no saving trials, adding a paywall literally wont fix anything other than upset even more players that have already invested enough time and money in this game. Trials just has to go, destiny has never truly been a competitive game no matter how much most of us wanted it to be. Destiny was designed with pve in mind and pvp was like an arcade mode where players could go and use all their favorite weapons against other players. Its only when the streamers started playing that this silly pvp crap about being competitive started, I feel the pve is more interesting and the pvp should stick as an arcade mode with decent rewards that for example grant a guaranteed enhancement shard upon reseting the crucible card. I used to go flawless every single weekend back on D1 and although I had some insanely fun times back then, my most memorable moments in destiny were the raids. Taking down oryx, killing crota, the vault of glass etc. pve is where destiny truly shines and I say this as someone that spends 90% of the time playing crucible.

All activities should be. Bungie made it free so they have no accountability. They can take away anything they want. Like Strikes. F2P ruined this game in so many ways.
-
Trials should’ve stayed gone and sparrow racing should’ve been brought back 😃
-
You can't paywall something that doesn't have any sort of incentive or rewards to warrant said paywall.
-
This games pvp will never be good . Especially not for competitive play. Don’t get me wrong I love playing pvp . But there’s so much crutch weapons and crutch exotics . If you don’t use them you don’t stand a chance . There’s no room to breath and have fun .always have to be sweating . Last game I played that was actually a casual fun kick back pvp was black ops 2 . Now everyone wants to be mlg try hard .

10 RespuestasTrials should be thrown into a dumpster and set on fire. Correction. Luke Smith should be thrown into a dumpster with Trials, then set on fire.

3 Respuestas
At least that way cheaters wouldn't be able to use Smurf accounts New lights dont have rights
That wouldn't stop them. They'd just roll the extra cost into the fees they charge.

4 Respuestas
At least that way cheaters wouldn't be able to use Smurf accounts New lights dont have rights
True. But also serves you right for playing PC

New Light was a mistake.

8 RespuestasEditado por Wes: 7/29/2020 7:07:25 PMTrials needs a lot of work. In my opinion, it needs: 1. A paywall to deter cheaters; 2. Significant token drops on wins and losses at all points of the card; 3. Chance of Trials loot dropping after a match, win or lose. Chance goes up with wins on a card; 4. Adept weapons to add more meaning to flawless (needed if people can get all the gear from losing); 5. Weekly and daily bounties that drop Trials gear; and 6. A sandbox update addressing sniper flinch and emote peeking.
Honestly why I started caring less and less. Terrible loot system aside, I went from a 2.0 K/D within Trials on week one to a 1.2 after the Widow's Court weekend. I could put two headshots in a sniper with a hand cannon and then still get my head taken off. Or even shred them with an auto and still get my head taken off. Or I'd face enemies that would lock down half the map with emotes when my team wasn't even sniping, making matches last 20 minutes. Trials was a downward spiral for me because of these things after the first weekend. I cared less and less and tried less and less, and Widow's Court was just the end of it.
Every game mode dies if it is a waste of time for the majority of the player base. That's just a fact. Players need a reason to go in if the population is to improve. They need to go in knowing they won't be cheesed. They need to go in knowing that even if they lose, it wasn't a waste of time. The 6 changes above would provide that.

They just need sms verification on every account so once banned they’d have to buy an new phone... wait wouldn’t work they don’t ban cheaters
-
With the new expansion and new armor ( like actual new ) armor confirmed and prob some weapons , it needs to be locked behind an expansion then . This will deter cheaters and burner smurf accounts .
-
It pretty much is on lfg lol

5 RespuestasJust get rid of PVP or make it completely casual and fun only, even open world. Let the game shine with stuff being as powerful as we want it. Let’s not forgot how D2 launched for the sake of PVP.
-
Trials should have stayed gone
-
Trials never should have left the trash can........change my mind

Editado por I Am Sonic Rose: 7/29/2020 3:13:35 PMhey even Bungie agrees with you there except the last sentence obviously
