PvP is still garbage. I mean we've reached a point that I see memes in r/Destiny2(best subreddit btw) saying how bad PvP is, like come on.
-Every primary that's not a 600rpm Auto Rifle or a 150 Handcannon is just not worth using
-Every Special that's not Felwinters Lie or Revoker is not worth using
-Supers like Fist of Havoc and Spectral Blades really need a nerf. They should definitely be more "high skill-high reward" instead of "oh I'm backed into a corner? No biggie I'll just use """"pure skill"""" and kill every enemy close to me lol". And the fact that they can stack Intellect Mods to get that stupid super back in 2-3 rounds(sometimes close to 1 cause lol camping on the back of the map is fun gameplay) just makes this game horrible.
-Speaking of sitting at the back of the map, 3-peeking, just remove it already.
-Hunter is alot stronger than Titan or Warlock. Dodge is way superior than walls/rifts(especially rifts, but I'll talk about warlocks later). Plus, having exotics like Wormhusk and Dragons Shadow make dodging just way too powerful, oh and you can get it back in 9 seconds.....NINE SECONDS. Now I'm not saying "Hunter bad removE or I uninstul" but rifts/walls need a rework so they can be as powerful and dodging needs a longer cooldown
Now I'll head into "Please buff warlocks cause I'm a sad warlock main". People seem to think that warlocks are "the best, the greatest class to play for PvP" just because of the mobility of top tree dawnblade, and as someone that has been a warlock main since week 1 of D1, I can say with confidence that, I don't see it. I hate the subclass. I feel like people that think it's the holy grail just watched someone like Mtashed saying "it good lol" and think that it's the second coming of Jesus. Yes the mobility and melee are top tier but that's all. Unlike nova warp or novabomb(both trees) were I always charge/consume my grenade, I never do it with top tree dawnblade. It feels wrong. The super is also just horrible. The tracking is a lie(like the cake). I've been in so many encounters were the ENEMY is IN FRONT OF ME and the projectiles just whiff. How? I don't know. Hunters can dodge the projectile, Titans can just pass it and it seems to not even track warlocks at all, and on top of that, the super has an extremely short duration. Like it's almost as short as Stormcaller without crown. But I guess that's just my opinion on the super so take it with a grain of salt I guess.
Now that we got that out of the way, All the other warlock supers are literal garbage. Stormcaller(all 3 trees) have poopoo resilience, Nova warp is long dead and like I just said and bottom tree dawnblade is painfully underused. Like you have Titans fisting and slamming people left and right, becoming military missiles that learn how to fly, throwing hammers or blasting you with a giant hammer with aimbot(that was a joke btw),invisible wallhack hunters, arcstriders and golden gun(ners?) running around "destroying you" and you think, were is all that for warlock? nowhere lol, better use top tree dawnblade cause everything else is average at best.
Now the elephant in the room. Rift sucks balls. You could remove it from the game and nothing would change. I already said that dodging is OP but even walls, which are not nearly as good as dodging, can be used effectively. They can be used to revive someone on gamemodes like trials or even if you don't manage to get a revive the enemy still(probably) wasted some special ammo to destroy the wall, meanwhile if you try to put a rift down you'll probably be dead before the animation finishes. I really hope the new "-blam!-" abilities are top tier for warlocks(even though that hunter freezing supers with a melee makes me rethink why I even bother to play PvP) and that we can get some rework of PvP in Beyond Light or soon after it's release.
Now that I wasted probably 10-15 minutes of your life I want to say that, if you use Gnawing Hunger and mountaintop your moms a h-------
Bonus Points if you're a Hunter

Now im probably doing you a disservice by not reading ALL of this but jug titan and specs (at least from a console standpoint in specs case) is perfectly fine. They aren't busted, just really good options. I do agree with you on the intellect mods though. They have never served a positive purpose in crucible and have no reason to be used in pve. Even if people were to argue about how slow they'd get their supers back w/o them, as the armor stands rn, you can still reach 90 or so intellect. They should honestly be removed from the game
-
I would also like to add to this list that the drops are nothing short of a joke. Oh, you got more kills than the entire enemy team's kills combined? Nice! Here's 3 garbage rare items that you're going to end up dismantling in seconds. You got only 1 kill and lost the match? Here's 3 legendaries for your trouble. And don't even get me STARTED on the horrible drop rate for catalysts. Seriously, I've been farming for a Vigilance Wing Catalyst for over a month now and have only seen 1 catalyst drop for a weapon I have no desire to use. I've been playing a game mode that I despise for a MONTH just to try and get a catalyst for a weapon I love using and I swear I'm going insane.

4 RespuestasI’m the type of guy to abuse broken stuff vw, felwinters and switched to hunter in February. You’re right hunter is seriously wayyyy too good in crucible my male hunter has a 4.04 overall kd! My warlock with over 150k kills has a 3.3 over kd. Just proves hunter is op And here’s my games on a gunslinger https://imgur.com/gallery/qCSCt6l

Yeah I too hate how non warlock players say warlocks are amazing because of just one subclass and only one path.
-
Are you? I'm not.
-
1 RespuestaAgree with everything you said. As bad as Warlocks are overall, the first thing that needs to change is rift because it’s an inherent class ability that’s present on all Warlock subclasses, meaning Warlocks are inherently disadvantaged vs Hunters. The animation time needs to be reduced by 50% and your equipped weapon should be reloaded upon activation.

Editado por Umbral Knight: 7/27/2020 7:51:51 AMit's weird seeing everyone comment that warlocks have abilities that are so great and annoying, which is true too an extent, but yall know yall not gonna switch classes to use it tho. There's a reason majority of the community plays hunter. Im a warlock main myself and I will admit some of their abilities can be annoying but it definitely feels lackluster compared to other classes. Most of the time if i switch to my hunter or titan ll have a way better and easier time than on my warlock. The argument saying warlocks have one of the most top tier classes in the game doesnt excuse the fact that a large portion of the community is hunter. Every match I play is filled with hunters(especially comp/trials) either in stacks or not. It's rare for me (on console at least) to fight other groups of warlocks. It should be glaringly obvious warlocks are lacking something if they are the least played. Its like a similar situation to Apex legends where one character(Wraith) has a higher win-ratio and usage compared to (for a hypothetical example) mirage. The devs rework characters based on that but bungie has a lot more work and content than apex so they can't rework everything right away hence why pvp is also in garbage state rn. Edit: We all know bungie aint gonna fix pvp or classes for a hot minute. At the end of the day this game will never be balanced and warlock mains will either have to work with what they have or switch classes. P.S This is just my opinion dont get offended so easily. Ik each class has their ups and downs im just talkin bout the general community usage of each class and my experience in pvp.

Editado por IAGNRG: 7/27/2020 7:00:38 AMSpammable supers need to have penalties for rapid use of the super with no results.
For example spamming Spectral Blades or Fists of Havoc and constantly missing (using the super for mobility) needs to take more of the super than just running with it or when you hit someone with it. This will disincentivize spamming a super and make it more tactical. To help balance this though, perhaps while you’re running with a super (and not doing anything) you progressively increase in speed until you attack or do an action. Open for debate.
Warlock is pretty good. Rift is pretty good.

7 RespuestasBoth spectral blades and fist of havoc were nerfed pretty good not long ago. In trials (which is what I'm assuming most of your view point is coming from) any roaming super would be OP since its 3v3 elimination. In normal crucible modes, both are perfectly balanced. As for class abilities, again in a 3v3 mode dodge is more useful for duels, but in IB or objective based modes, barricade and rift are much better. Also in pve content both of those abilities are better than dodge. I will admit that I think titan and warlock class ability exotics should increase the casting speed for their class ability. Also maybe decrease the base cool down time by 5-7 seconds. Most of your problem is your only look at things from 1 game type, instead of the game as a whole. I mean I play lots of gambit, but you dont see me complaining about how wells or bubbles makes titans/warlocks too good at melting bosses with swords

4 RespuestasEditado por michael: 7/26/2020 4:26:09 PMI have to laugh at you saying dawnblade is bad. It is a tracking projectile based super which right away puts it ahead of spectral and fist of havoc which are very high risk against coordinated opponents. You watch a high level 3v3 game and you will see people babying melee based supers left and right. Top dawn also has very strong movement, as you can icarus dash in the super and briefly get the speed of pre nerf bottom dawn. You put this AT LEAST top tier, if not the best, super on top of the godly movement and the melee and you have a subclass that is completely untouchable. And no I am not saying this because Mtashed told me to, I am saying this because I have mained top dawn since it was buffed. I have not been able to put it down. It plays so much better than anything else and is the PERFECT subclass for the person who is willing to put the time into it. I will concede that other warlock subclasses are lacklustre. But you simply can not say that top dawn is overrated or that you don’t see the value in it.

Did you ever think the fact that you have not heard a thing about pvp in like a year says it all. Look at the release of trials and the roll out video talking about taking the time to get it right.....Only to release the same game it was in the same sandbox we have etc. All they did is flip a switch. In short how can anyone believe they have the slightest care in the world for that entire section of the game.

12 RespuestasYou're actually delusional if you think Hunters are better than Titans in PvP right now. Titans have nothing terrible in PvP. As for Warlocks, they have one of the best subclass trees in the game for PvP with top tree Dawnblade. They aren't trash. None of the classes are. Does that mean nothing needs buffed? No, not at all. Warlocks could use buffs to Blink, Rift, and Chaos Reach. I honestly don't think Nova Warp needs buffed. I've been using it a lot and if you incorporate Blink with it, you can absolutely destroy with it. If we get a buff to Blink, namely removing the stupid hitbox extension effect it has, then Nova Warp will be pretty good. Rift needs to have a faster animation, and that's undeniable. Titans need Ward of Dawn nerfed. That's it. I don't think there's anything even remotely underpowered about this class. Hunters could use some tuning to Spectral Blades. Specifically to encourage NOT spamming the quick attack. Perhaps the super could last a bit longer while invis, and rapidly swiping will drain super even quicker. Golden Gun and Shadowshot still need buffed. Golden Gun having no armor on the super at all is ridiculous. Getting sniped out of the animation or popping it behind cover only for the enemy team to just run and hide to wait the super out is actually infuriating. Even 10% extra armor would be welcome. Shadowshot is still the most useless super in PvP. Doesn't activate quickly enough and you're going to die 90% of the time after casting it. Also can we shut up about dodge being OP? It really isn't. Is it strong? Yeah it's strong, but it's not 'OP'. Shadestep in D1 wasn't OP and that was much stronger than dodge is right now.

8 RespuestasTo be honest if sounds like you need to take a break from PVP.
Every primary that's not a 600rpm Auto Rifle or a 150 Handcannon is just not worth using
What about pulse rifles as an example? Anyone can go and absolutely shred with a decent pulse rifle (I often use the one from GoS and it does well). There's always 'meta' but there's always other weapons that can complete if you play to thier strengths.
Every Special that's not Felwinters Lie or Revoker is not worth using
See above
Supers like Fist of Havoc and Spectral Blades really need a nerf
They have been nerfed and all supers can be shut down with weapons now which is someting you simply couldn't say a while ago. They can be strong but they're kind of meant to be, being supers and all. You can still use them badly and pay the price for it.
Hunter is alot stronger than Titan or Warlock.
Really? Each class has thier own strengths and weaknesses. Locks have an on demand AOE heal that gives overshield and Titans have an on demand wall that makes revives and grabbing heavy pretty easy even under fire. Is dodge usefull? Of course. That doesn't mean the other abilites aren't too, you just need to use them correctly. In all honesty I started reading the rest of your post and lost interest. It just comes across as someone who's paticularly salty and needs to either play a different class or just take a break.
