Just because you suck monkey ass doesn't mean that everyone better than you is a "sweat". You people need to stop using that term to justify your incompetence at something. The only complaint people like you should have concerning the crucible is stacks vs randoms and weapon and class balance. At least then it's possible for you to accidentally make some sense. I bet 99% of these posts are from solo players getting mercies from stacks. Just because you suck doesn't mean you're playing against the top 1% every game.

  • LOL "Hey, don't practice against people who are of a similar skill to get better. You suck, so it's much better for you to get your ass handed to you constantly. That will surely make you better..." Whenever SBMM is in play, I am consistently above 1 k/D. When it isn't I go from being above 1 at the top, to having games where I might as well pick a random player to give the kill to and jump off the map. Has nothing to do with skill. But it does have everything to do with relative skill. In Halo PvP I sucked at first, then I got better over time, the more I played, and amazingly, so did the people I was playing against. THAT is how people get better. Not by playing against sweat lords BOOSTING their K/D against lower tier players. That is why the stats are actually BS. Big man, playing against newbs getting 20+ kills each time. What is the ACTUAL k/d of players in relation to the people that are on their level.

I hate to burst your bubble, but you are terrible. Your 341 ELO in iron banner is literally the worst I have ever seen. EVER... The game has been feeding you low skill players and beginners to make you feel good about yourself, and now, when playing everyone, you have the gall to complain on the message board instead of working on improving your game. I’m sorry, but why should bungie feed you other low skill players and beginners for you to maintain your 0.85 k/d at the expense of everyone else? Get over yourself.... Stop complaining and work on your game.

  • 1. I never claimed to be "good" 2. I have player EXACTLY enough games to complete the quests/bounties I am working on in a season. I used to play a lot more, but if you think that actually represents my "skill", knock yourself out.

They arent, thier games are simply dumbed down opponents so they can achieve some competence.
Has nothing to do with skill. But it does have everything to do with relative skill. If they are dominating 90% of the time they are better then 90% of the playerbase. Cbmm shows everyone where they TRULY sit on the totem pole of pvp players. Only Warmind, Forsaken and now have been CBMM. So relatively they’ve been “Sweats” this whole time. And when they kill 100k,200k players because they have played through both KD’s take forever to fluctuate at all. So it’s not just sweating during CBMM. True Sweats are good as a whole no matter what type of MM it’s in. Plus they’re called 1%rs for a reason. You’re not facing true “SWEATS” every game. Your whole reasonings are potato copouts.

  •
Real “sweats” carry and have carried 2+KDs since the beginning of D2
No, they haven't. There are fewer than 18,000 players in Destiny with a K/D over 2.0...that's the top 1.2% of players. There are far more players who play like "real sweats" than those top 1.2%...pretty much anybody in the top 30% plays that way. And, unless those top 30% players are facing each other, they just stomp across matches, because they still are that much better than the rest of the players. They do this because they choose to play "sweaty" because they want high stats in a game mode where high stats just mean you have been matched against a lot of players who are far below your skill level. Play however you want in quickplay, stop caring about your stats, and save the "sweat" for competitive modes.

That’s why they’re just in the top 30...lmao And I never said I was a sweat. Nor do I give a crap about stats. I’d rather have better connections and quicker queue times than play in the same bracket game after game while the opponents are lagging because the game matches me with Guadalajara played because of “skill”. Furthermore this game has NO True competitive mode. It isn’t competitive. It’s Niche gameplay. Not competitive.

  • Of course you have a 1 k/d when sbmm is present. You know who else sbmm forces to a 1 k/d? LITERALLY EVERYONE! That is the point of the system. In theory, everyone plays in their own bracket so their stats all get pushed toward 1. Eventually, there is no longer a way to distinguish between the very skilled and the potatoes. It's unsustainable. How can you want something when the very theory is flawed?

The curious thing though is that when given the choice between a casual 6v6 SBMM game and a CBMM game, CB dies. So, in effect, the decision to force everyone into CB is an anti consumer choice.

I played dozens and dozens (several page loads here in my PvP history) of IB between Christmas 2019 and into the new year 2020 (i.e. recent seasons). All were SBMM. Had a great time. Won some, lost some, almost never did awful, and some times I was at the top of the winning team. Never - ever thought I didn't have at least a chance against anyone on the field. Didn't see anything that I could identify as cheating, nor did I experience a problem with lag or network issues. Games filled up fast. On the other hand, in CBMM games, the situation is reversed. Took me a while to learn what CBMM meant (give the wolves a pen full of sheep) before I learned my lesson. "Quickplay"... such a fun sounding and inviting title... Who would have thought it was a death zone for anyone on this side of the skill curve? Here I thought PvP should be fun... Boy was I mistaken...

  • It should be fun, for those who are skilled. If you want to have fun, then get better. That's how everything in life works. Why should the game cater to those who refuse to improve?

  • Lots of people who, because of their age or abilities, are at their skill peak. I reached my skill peak in D1, with 60k account wide kills and a 1.2 k/d. Everyone has a limit. Even you.

I think that in the early years of Destiny, Bungie managed the game for the majority (largest share of paying customers who prefer SB), but that has changed. Just the fact that CB playlists suffer from a low population when consumers can choose proves that.

  • The 6v6 social playlists have switched back and forth more than once, and we’ve seen the results, but I don’t remember one playlist being offered with both SB and CB at the same time. If Bungie is reading this, give us QP in both SB & CB for an entire season, and the whiners on both sides will learn the truth. Assuming, of course, that SB/CB are representative of what we’ve had in the past and players are clearly informed. But I digress. Bungie already has mountains of pvp data showing player preference...

  • Sure there is. You get "better" regardless of the number. What the game shows you, and how it matches you are not the same thing. A lot of factors go into that. So yes, pushing people towards a 1 should be the goal, it helps them have a desire to keep playing. More players, more competition, better crucible.

  • Who actually gives AF about kd anyway? It's an arbitrary number in a fking video game. You get absolutely nothing from having a 6.4kd same as if you had a .46kd. Nobody truly gives AF. The ones that bring it up are only trying to get a reaction to possibly try to get you banned for something stupid. Even when it was SBMM you people were endlessly whining. You will whine no matter what instead of discussing all of the real issues plaguing the crucible. Talk about balance, talk about cheaters, talk about lobby balance because I promise you; you're the reason why a lot of "sweats" lost their games because you can only carry a bunch of Jonny no thumbs so far and they are a LOT more upset than you are I can assure you of that. Control is an objective based game and you potatoes never play the obj.

  • Matchmaking in Destiny has always had issues but right now it is the worst it has ever been. Makes sense, there is not much interesting “watchable” content for the streamers and youtubers other than preying on less skilled players to get views.
