There is constant trending posts against Sunsetting.
Please vote. I want to know how many are truly for it and who is against it.
'Cause it should be the majority's desires that prevail.
Not that Bungie cares what the majority of their player base truly wants. But please vote so we can truly get a sense of what the community wants, Sunsetting, or no Sunsetting.

Someone pointed out that 1 and 3 are pretty much the same, but I can't edit it so I will explain the wording I actually mean't
Option 1: Sunsetting is okay with me, means, you agree with Sunsetting.
Option 2: Sunsetting is not cool whatsoever, means, you do not like Sunsetting at all.
Option 3: Sunsetting means nothing if it's there or not, means, you do not like Sunsetting, but you also do not hate it. You are completely mutual, not opposing it nor do you want it.

While they sunsetting can they add crucible to the list of things to go in the vault..

7 RespuestasBiased poll, formus hate sunsetting.

In my opinion sun setting is bad but if bungie had not done this the fallen would continue to claw at the walls of our City, unless we strike them down. Beneath the ruins of the Cosmodrome, in the shadow of an old colony ship, we've located the House of Devils' Lair and the High Servitor feeding them their strength. We must destroy this machine god, and send their souls screaming back to hell.

Editado por Ricochet 049: 7/17/2020 8:52:51 PMIt’s the armor that I don’t like. Armor 2.0 seems wasted if I keep having to cycle it out. But it is fun to work on a new set. I’m conflicted on it.
-
I’m ok with weapon sunsetting, but armor sunsetting is a terrible idea and shouldn’t happen.
-
You see, I’d be fine with sunsetting of bungie didn’t just re-release the same gear they’re sunsetting as “new” and just give it a higher power cap.
-
2 RespuestasStrongly against sunsetting. It’s the wrong fix for the wrong problem. While not the only reason I stopped playing this game, it was one of the final straws.

I don’t mind it, but considering the reissued weapons gives me concerns. Armor should have not been part of the sunset considering you neeed precise rolls to get what you need on a build.

1 RespuestaGreat Voting Poll Aubs! I like it!

Sunsetting=Horsemanure!

If you can turn any armor into an ornament then I don’t mind sunsetting at all
-
Don’t mind weapon sunsetting, despise armor sunsetting. If you think mods are op, sunset the mods, not the armor.

Editado por Entity: 7/18/2020 9:58:21 PMLmao your edit for option 3 is dumb, though it is a good point that 1 and 3 is close to the same by description, if you dont care for sunsetting that means you can take it or leave it as it doesnt matter. Not that you dislike it but don't hate it, what kinda skewed logic is that, being neutral is a valid position. And while these polls are nice it sadly won't ever represent the entire community, and reddit you may get bigger results to base off of a bigger amount of people willing to take the pole, that's why ulvoted content in reddit goes up to +10k upvotes lol

I look forward to it. There are guns from like 2 years ago that are still meta. It’s time for everyone to move on. I’m so bored of having to handicap myself if I want to use something other than mountaintop, wendigo, revoker, recluse, delirium, beloved, waking vigil, spare rations etc.

If there was an option to select which content you had on your machine, it might be useful. But seeing as a terabyte drive isn’t that much, about the cost of a game, I don’t see why space is an issue. This is coming from a pc player with plenty of slots in the box. Console, yeah, that’s a different story. But there are usb hard drives, so that’s an option too

3 RespuestasThe only guns they needed to sunset were pinnacles. They clearly made them too powerful and didn't know how to fix them.. What'd they do? They scrapped virtually every piece of gear up to this point, brought back a handful of the SAME guns with the SAME ROLLS, but this time with an updated sticker that says "ok you can use THIS one a little longer. -blam!- your other stuff though" Sunsetting IS a good practice, and usually when it happens in games the transition is smooth, and there's new stuff to use once it happens.. it also takes longer to kick in, and gear feels useful for much longer. Bungo decided they want to cram that experience into a fraction of the time frame, and call it fun. Why even farm for anything anymore? It all has an expiration date now. 🤙

Already migrated to warframe, very dissapointed with bungie because i actually prefer destiny shootings mechanics to waframe high speed movement mechanics but having weapons that stay relevant forever is an absolute must for me, no compromise on that. Not the first time I quit destiny, the first was right after taken king launched for the exact same reason. Logged in, saw all my gear retired, logged out and that would have been destiny 1 for me if age of triumph over a year later hadn't brought back most year 1 weapons and the old raids to relevant light levels. And back then I was a student with free time to regrind all god rolls (And that left me very bitter). Now I am a full time engineer with little free time to play, so I wont sink a single second of it in destiny if all my gear will eventually expire. Have over 450 god rolls in my collection and all took weeks or months to grind. My favorite weapons are not even OP or meta but for the sake of getting rid of mountaintop and recluse they will become useless as well. My favorite build for nightfalls and gambit prime (Both light relevant and my favorite activities) is night watch, long goodbye (My absolute favorite sniper) and abide the return (Sword from dreaming city). All master-worked with over 1k kills on each, all will be useless on my favorite activities, multiply that for 450 and there's my reason to have lost all joy in playing destiny. Not really raging or angry. Mostly just very disappointed that bungie would so carelessly throw all my effort and engagement into trash...

3 RespuestasOverall I see Sunsetting as a positive, but that's only because it smacks Revoker and Mountaintop upside the head. I'd much rather see those two nerfed into the ground, but I'll take what I can get.
-
I’ll just wait till we actually get to try it out. Staying neutral for now, but definitely have my doubts.

If done right i will support it but atm im disappointed. My good bone structure is getting sunset yet the only alternative is first in last out which has ABYSMAL handeling.
-
Option 3 for me.
-
Is there a “wait and see” option? As of right now, I think it’s complete bullshit since all we’ve seen Bungie do is sunset gear and then make us grind for the exact same gear again. I am REALLY hoping this isn’t the case for the rest of the seasons. The true test of sunsetting is going to be whether or not Bungie can generate enough new content to replace the gear that is being power capped. If their past performance is any indication, I have concerns.

2 RespuestasThe one good thing about sunsetting is where there will be no more mountaintop users in trials.
