Due to how subsetting will work armor will only last for a year, along with this with every season we get high stay rolled armor on the battle pass that may be a better roll then our master worked armor, this can also be said for getting better rolled armor anywhere else.
People may be scared to masterwork their armor because the investment isn’t worth it for the time they will have it or they are afraid a better roll will come round in which they will have to masterwork again.
Armor is more easily replaced in this game and therefore masterworking armor should be waaaaaaaay cheaper than it is now.

Alternatively return more materials when you delete armor.
-
Secondly, we should be getting all our materials out of Masterworked Armour when we dismantle them.
-
If i break down my master worked armour do i get enough cores back to master a new set? Because iv been tempted to but im worried i wont get my cores etc back. Iv been working on mastering my set and i still havent but it will become obsolete before i finish it and the same thing will happen again if i start a new set. What a Fukn joke...

I think for a lot of activities the loot that drops should have a high chance at already being fully masterworked. They implemented this for pit of heresy boss loot and in the menagerie and gambit you can also have fully masterworked gear drop. I think it’d be a nice change to have a high chance at this in a raid and then also why wasn’t prophecy boss loot built with the same principle of giving a fully masterworked item for your 1st clear that week. Lots of inconsistencies in bungies choices on these activities.

1 RespuestaEditado por Demon_XXVII: 7/14/2020 3:35:42 AMMake masterworking armour WORTH it The affects are lacklustre & the cost is atrocious {Here’s one thing I’d like to see changed Infusing something that’s a higher gear (power) score fully masterworked item (like Item A Pit of Heresy helmet) into Item B (lower power helmet (which is fully masterworked - because stats work better) should only infuse the light level ...not cost ALL the materials from Item A as well } But then, who would trust Bungie not to fvck it all up again (what with legendary armour sunsetting, & the inevitable exotic armour sunset too) The Transmogrification System that will no doubt require a Silver Mine (luckily I’ve got an email contact selling one) Bungie don’t even trust their own ‘shiny/great’ Armour 2.0 system Destroyed the seasonal mods (Farewell Powerful Friends) As for the stats system ....I’ve had some brilliant rolls on blue armour....and some utter shite from ‘pinnacle’ & ‘focused’ armour Why can’t we just earn experience points to upgrade the actual stat we want on the armour we want ?

1 RespuestaI don't worry about this, I've got 20 Ascendant Shards amd 150 Prisms

Yep, I totally agree. The way armor will now be thrown away and new possible armor gained, the price is way too high for increasing the energy and possibly master working it. The GRIND JUST ISN'T WORTH IT. I think most would like to masterwork their armor for the benefits it provides, but just do not see the benefit of all the work for the short term. This is especially true for folks that do like to play all 3 classes and would like multiple master worked armor sets for each character. Of course, the D2 24/7 players do not see it this way. As far as dismantling armor goes, why not just give us back the full amount of resources that we used to master work an armor piece? If there will be no increase in the Ascendant Shard drops, then allow us to get an Ascendant Shard back on an armor master worked dismantle even if you do not refund all the other materials 100%? I think the refund amount on materials for both armor and weapon dismantling are a bit too shallow as it stands. As far as what the streamers will grind for if materials are a bit easier to get??? Mtashed can just start playing another game when he is finished grinding out his D2 stuff. It is not hard for streamers to do so!!! Mtashed my moan and complain about having to play another game or wine about his channel losing views because of this. But Bungie shouldn't only be catering to these streamers as that is what only 1% of the player base, if even that? Another thing, I believe at the beginning of each year's big release, all mods for that year should fit into all armor sets that are released within that same year! This way you can obtain an armor set in the first season of that big release and use all the mods up to the end of the year's release in that same armor set. Then it starts over on the next big yearly release. This just makes too much sense, so maybe Bungie will not do that!! Luke Smith, are you listening???

Ditto! Excellent Idea Ojang!

10 RespuestasFirstly I'm not a streamer or even a PC player. I have over 10 masterworked armour pieces per character and full sets of Arc, Solar & Void armour for each character + more for different mods. I play HARD for the first week of a season and then play only 5 hours a day. Most of that armour is already close to a year old and will last another year from being either from the GoS raid or from recent seasons. Just being -9 power of the Master night fall you can get 10-15 minute runs. I once farmer 40 shards in 3 days by stacking them in my 3 postmasters. I also bought some when my Prisms capped out. I look forward to sunsetting and see it as nothing more than the next challenge Destiny has to throw at me. I embrace change and see it as a challenge to adapt to this evolving game. If you people put as much effort into the game as you do complaining about it you'd be fine.

3 RespuestasYes I agree. Bungie wants you kids to have to play all day to get somewhere. You poor kids don't have time to read books experience real life. Bungie needs to grow up.

3 RespuestasEditado por Geisterfahrer567: 7/14/2020 9:43:14 AMDude let me tell you a lifehack 🤫 run the PoH three times a week which only takes 20 minutes overall. Doing that you 18 prisms for free every week which nearly is enough for two armour pieces. So in what way do you want to make masterworks cheaper when it only takes around 3 weeks for a whole set assuming you only play these 20 minutes every week?

3 RespuestasAgreed bigtime. One of my main goals this season is to grind upgrade materials and find some armor actually decent enough to masterwork. Hopefully a few sets that are 1360 so I won't have to worry for a year. But man the grind is insane. It for sure needs to be cheaper to upgrade armor, or make prisms cheaper to buy from the gunsmith, and give us more sources for grinding. Maybe a weekly bounty that guarantees a shard. Something like that.

A year? Current model with seasonal mods makes me think they're setting us up for changing armor every half a year.

3 RespuestasEditado por Xero: 7/13/2020 8:10:35 PMYou have a typo, it looks. This is geared towards sunsetting, not subsetting right? Don't tell me this is something new.

17 RespuestasAscendant Shards are very easy to get.
-
This should definitely be implemented but they’re using the Activision/Blizzard grinding wheel, they won’t change it until it’s close to being phased out. Once it’s close to its phase out they’ll make the grind easier to bring players back into a lighter grind so they’re prepped and playing, ready for the new content

4 RespuestasI rarely MW’d armor because as soon as I did, a piece with better stats would drop. It wasn’t a grind. It was crushing all the enjoyment out of upgrading our characters.
-
12 RespuestasBut then what will all the top streamers grind for? How will they be more special than you and me? I mean apart from looking at their hacks and cheats on PC, what else have they got to show apart from masterwork stuff and ornaments?
-
This would be that big of an issue if level system was not garbage that is just a lost sector grind.
-
Everything almost feels way too pointless. I started MW armor at the end of CoO and stopped when forsaken launched because of that transition....now there's this.

14 RespuestasEditado por Yosemite Sam: 7/13/2020 5:24:28 PMIMO, it's a waste of time to masterwork anything when most of the items won't be useful here really soon.
