Everybody always whining about no new enemy race.
We got scorn in D2 as a new race.
Which everybody says is reskinned fallen...but they are not .
You know what halo added as new enemies in 3 games?
Only brutes.
You know what CoD added as enemies in a million games...nothing...still humans.
Same with battlefield.
Star wars games all still have no new enemies.
And yet those are all doing fine.
There are only so many races in the destiny lore..
English
-
Well cod did add *chunckles* robots
-
Destiny added tr3vor
-
Well destiny is marketed as an action rpg...can we bring examples of tons of rpg games that have many different enemy types?
-
Not really no.
-
Yes during the best era of D2. Forsaken. The go fast philosophy and them wanting us to feel powerful. I miss those days.
-
You know what CoD added as enemies in a million games...nothing...still humans.
LOL...
-
Idk if i should take that serious, because you are comparing CoD and battlefield with Destiny... We get a new planet and a new subclass, in my opinion we should get also a new enemy race, otherwise we will have a new location with the same enemies over and over again, what is super boring instantly

Lore wise new enemies dont exist . Which everyone knows.
-
Lorewise, it’s inconceivable that a race would use such a limited range of enemy types to achieve their goals. Each race should get 2-3 new models thrown in the mix if all else fails.
-
See you say that. But in real life we are no different. Infantry. Armored. Air. Naval. If humans were an enemy we would also only have 4 models so to say. Take hive. Thrall.. knightsand acolytes are infantry. Ogres are armored. Wizards are air .
-
Isn’t the hive made up of hundreds of races from fundament though or are they just the race that won out? It’s also stated that hive are highly mutable. Variations of each model should be a thing I guess.
-
Hive only differ in how they look if they have different leaders. That is why crota and oryx's hive have red armor.
-
I see, that makes sense

I mean... Kind of? Arcborn and Clipse exist, arcborn have reason to hate Calus and by the transient property us. There's the thing that the 'don't touch me' gauntlets came from. Moth People, bird people, krill people from the BoS. And there's the Ahamkara still puttering around as weird sentient corpses. Personally I don't care about the lack of a new race, but if it was a neccesity there are lore justifications. have a nice day :)
