All bets are off on PC, but on console, nah. There is literally no way to cheat on it with the things you described. Modded controllers is technically not a cheat since I don’t think any of them alter game code.

You can use XIM on consoles.

The only cheat I've seen gain any ground on console was rapid fire/jitter mods. Not as common, but very apparent when you see some scum bag using it.

There is also anti recoil cheats on some modded controllers. It's a plague on CoD

Oh Lord I bet. I remember being super peeved about the modded FAL back in MW2, I can only imagine what kind of crazy nonsense they have now.

The worst is you can get the necessary mods for controllers from Amazon nowadays and then you just download the cheats from the product's website, and it doesn't seem to be something developers are aware of or want to do something about.

That one is probably the most beneficial. It is still not technically cheating, as the mod only fires at fast as the game allows, but yeah, it gives an unfair advantage.

There is a way to fire faster than the game allows. I think it has something to do with the macro firing, pulling out your ghost, firing, etc.

I'm pretty sure the game naturally doesn't allow slow guns like the Graviton Lance to dump it's entire mag in less than a second. The sound it makes is God awful. Like a hundred balloons popping all at once. That was a pretty hilarious game of Trials though. My friend was using his new headphones and when that dude killed him it just about popped his ears out of his head.

It's nowhere new as common as it used to be but I still see it here and there. Maybe Bungies anti cheat works better on console? There was one dude who was notorious for using it in Trials of the Nine. Like it was insane how long he got away with it.
