I am garbage at PvP. Absolute trash.
And I will take CBMM over SBMM even getting stomped match after match, mercied left and right, I don't care. I will take CBMM all day long because, at least with CBMM I can learn something. I can adapt. I can alter my approach, try different tactics, explore different weapons and see which methods can be effective against people at all skill levels.
With SBMM, I would get that 1 guy who takes no damage despite unloading a clip into his skull, is running in place, shooting me while facing 45' away looking at a f*c king wall, teleporting as a titan like nobodies business meleeing me from 10 yards away (1 shot).

Your post is the perfect description of half the Iron Banner matches I have played so far. CBMM hasn't helped connections at all, because when a fireteam of more than one player joins, the connection algorithm uses the fireteam leader to determine the connection quality. So, if I drop in with my friends from Europe and the western US, Bungie pretends we are all from the eastern US and connects us with other people there. Welcome to the lag-fest that is Iron Banner with fireteams.

It's funny, I take the opposite view. With SBMM I was able to learn more incremental lessons as I would get better, as opponents got better. When getting stomped I feel there isn't time to learn anything because boom, I'm dead, other then don't stand there lol. I think I would agree with you more if connections, from my perspective, got better, but they haven't. Now I'm pulling people from France and Brazil, and strangely enough South Asia. This might be due to the time I play (late night EST) but I gotta believe the population in the U.S. is strong enough I don't need to match outside of it, right?

go into comp then
-
I do, it's enjoyable, thanks for the suggestion

You still see those guys in CBMM, I went through one guy twice with spectral blades and they took no damage. Cheaters gonna cheat.

Ran into an entire 6-stack that from time to time did not take any damage at all. Not even from supers.

Editado por MillionPlayz YT: 7/1/2020 4:47:12 AMI do recommend using the Chaperone because I used to get around 19-21 kills per game but with my chaperone and other thing that has changed to 30-39 so I highly recommend using it because it is odd when I use it. When I get a headshot with it, it feels like I can’t miss another headshot making super fun to use. Plus thank you for being a champ and trying your hardest to get better. I’d love to play with you and teach you some stuff.

You have to use what Bungie told you to (i.e., sidearms), not a weapon of your choice. I can shred with Suros or Spare Rations, but I have to run a 1010 light level sidearm against 1060 guardians instead...

I already got the quest done in like 2 games so I am just having fun with what I like using

Good luck having fun when your blueberries are competing for sidearm kills instead of taking zones.
