After doing a couple of posts and seeing the response
Yes I am a casual player when it comes to PvP I very rarely play it but I still play it and to all you ninnies out there I shouldn't have to justify myself to you either all we need is a play list where the casuals can play and have there fun as well
If you top tier players can't get your minds around that and understand that we all just want to have fun well im sorry

3 RespuestasIm on board if tiered progression (5-6 brackets) comes WITH sbmm but i bet you are against that. *Increased valor/xp/tokens, bounty/quest/triumph progression, loot quality/quantity*

I am not top tier. I am actually pretty garbage. But I take CBMM any day over SBMM. If I am paired with higher skilled players, at least I can learn something from the experience. In SBMM, I would get the people with garbage connections that did not teach me anything except SBMM is lag hell. Honestly, I don't understand why people seem to think that SBMM is going to be less competitive, or rather that they specifically will have a better experience if it is skill based. PvP is competitive by nature. Just because you are pairing with people at your current skill level doesn't mean it will be a breeze for you specifically. And if you are in a match stomping other players and thinking "Oh yeah, this is what SBMM is all about!" then all you have done is become the very person you are ranting against in this post.

What Bungie should do, is put up the same playlist with both options, for one month. At the end of the month, whichever playlist had a better population, tune the crucible to that type of matchmaking, and leave it there.

5 RespuestasSBMM actually makes events like Iron Banner enjoyable as a casual. Normally I only play to do the weekly 8 matches and the 8 bounties then play Iron Banner if it's on as it's usually a fair fight. Not anymore. I've attempted 6 matches of Iron Banner so far, got stomped in all 6, ended up against full clans twice and all this while trying to complete the sidearm/auto rifle quest. Iron Banner isn't even worth doing now as it's not fun getting destroyed every 2 seconds.

2 RespuestasI’m not top tier but any means at all. My win rate is going up, my kd is going up, and I’m having a lot more fun in matches. Even if I’m playing against a five stack in control, I do just fine.

2 RespuestasAs a “hardcore/sweaty player” there needs to be a choice based on playlist. There should be one 6v6 CBMM playlist for people who want quick games just to chill without worrying about doing poorly or well, or just want to do bounties, and everything else should be SBMM.
-
comp is sbmm. If you need to play against players your level that is still open. Those players do understand that. But the problem you have is sbmm destroys them, means players in mid tiers end up in the laggiest of laggy lobbies and only people down the lower skill end enjoy it. In CBMM everyone gets good connections and players that are lower tier will have games where it will be rough, but you will have good games too. There isnt a solution to fix both things for both people. They should have left pvp as cbmm in d1. Soon as they changed it to sbmm its been a non stop argument that no one can win and both have valid reasons for the game their way.

11 RespuestasWe need SBMM back. We need a choice in all playlist.

There is no good reason why the system should not use SBMM and then use CBMM to find matches. One sided games are no fun and do not lend themselves to anyone becoming a better player. Have seen more DCs and unbalanced games that lead to people self-dcing than ever before. Wait times have not that drastically improved either. As far as people facing less challenges in their matches, that just decreases the potential for people to improve, to improve you need to face stronger competition not just people you can curbstomp. Running around for 15 mins to try and find someone to kill means you just emote in place and wait for the game to end. Before we had games that could go from leaning toward a loss to a victory at the end. Now it's more decided in the first round and then people start quitting. If a mix can't be programmed in, then there should be queues for both. Losing players and potential expansion purchases to these types of changes are idiotic at the best and lazy at its worst. If this was an issue on the forums in the past then its a situation where listening to a minority that post has lent itself to impacting people that were just out there playing and having fun. When we go from people excited about an expansion to, I'm not buying that trash, something has gone way off the tracks. Don't take too long to address this or we just lose more people.

I don't know why Bungie can't make it a player choice setting, like it is in Halo? That would solve a lot of the problems. Maybe their archaic architecture has something to do with it.
-
7 RespuestasIt’s not just the top tier players who dislike sbmm. It’s anyone who plays pvp regularly. Those who are good? Sure.... but also those of us like me who like pvp and want to feel like we are actually improving. Why should bungie make their matchmaking for pvp accommodate people who do not play pvp?

Editado por Puma Kane: 6/30/2020 3:42:18 PMI think Bungie should never bring back SBMM and just let the player pool, stabilize itself. Just like when you first get your driver's license, instructors wont take you to a private track or racetrack, they throw you out there on the road with the big trucks and wackos, until you catch on. SBMM sensationalist will get better and over it, if they really want to.

There is a playlist it's called survival enjoy
-
I'm torn on this one. While my que times haven't gotten shorter, as was supposed to be the case, I find I'm getting dropped into more matches in progress. It's feast or famine. I'm not top tier, I've got a 1.5 K/AD this season, lower than last season, so it is more difficult. My issue is the lack of consistency match to match. Get stomped one match, you are the boot the next match. It doesn't reveal your skill progress because the matches are all over the place. Getting used to it though. Try Survival, I had fun in there. Good luck. Q.

To try to satisfy everyone: 6v6 should remain cbmm. Add clash to the playlist. This playlist earns valor. Add a 3v3 or 4v4 playlist called ranked that has strong sbmm. This playlist earns glory. This is where people go to learn.
-
You can play Comp? That's the only one with sbmm
-
Cater to people who play a few times every two weeks then quit the season... Or make the entirety of crucible better for everyone while shortening queue time, improving connections, allowing for off meta builds, can group with friends if different skill levels, making SBMM playlists less sweaty by moving some of the playerbase to 6v6s, having streamer/content makers come back to Destiny to extend the lifespan of the game... Yeah rough choice.
-
2 RespuestasYour occasional casual fun under SBMM comes at expense of the connection quality, the game shouldn’t cater to people who barely touch pvp if that means the rest of us get worse connections and longer queue times as a result, and its not only the top tier players that are effected by this.

Where it actually matters????

1 RespuestaBoycott all 6v6 playlist. If you want your pinnacle play elimination or comp they are SBMM. If enough of us quit playing, Bungie will take notice, and maybe make a change. What we need is a choice of either SBMM or CBMM. If you want SBMM back boycott crucible. Tell your friends to spead the word.

You have two playlists just like that: comp and Elim. Play those.
