Season of Arrival is not worth the money
I'm so tired of these boring weekly events that serve no purpose other than sprinkle a little lore and hold our attention until the next game comes out. This season as well as the last one should have been free. Stop charging people for bare minimum content. Last season, It took 3 months to blow up a ship that we only visited once...
This season is probably going to be months of Eris just whispering boring things about the darkness to personify it and make you question the Traveler. It would be interesting if we could actually see that side of the darkness she's talking about instead of just being told about it. That's one of this game's biggest problems. It's all tell, not show. If I wanted overly ambiguous lore without seeing any of it, I would load up my Soulsborne games.

11 RespuestasAgree, for me atleast, so I didnt buy it. Its fking LL grind for a "Dungeon" and fking Gambit as public event. Its Season of Worthy just with better packening. I mean you could see it in their stream, that they just give a -blam!- about this season. Lets buy Fall DLC, better future blabla, how idiotic people must be to believe this shit. I mean they still didnt answer to criticism of sunsetting e.g. regrind of your godroll or even armor sunsetting, but yes they are listening.

22 RespuestasS11 has an entire dungeon, weekly missions, a way to farm loot by playing what you want, a really cool public event, etc. That’s well over worth 10 bucks.

It's only 3 weeks into the season and it's already a huge step up compared to all three previous seasons, S10 and S8 especially. Whether it was worth the $10 is subjective because opinions will vary, but imo the dungeon and the (actual) new items this season would put it up there. If nothing else though, this season will put an end to the horrible seasonal model.

(Except maybe Season of the Worthy) I get more bang for my buck than most people and I still have friends who play. Arguing over what day we raid every week is always fun. Here’s to another three years of ups and downs, improvements and repeated mistakes.

4 RespuestasTruthfully, while I completely HATE the direction this game is going in a lot of ways, I don’t feel cheated for this season. But I have high doubt Bungie will make a content drop worth the $69.99 price tag. THAT is where my skepticism lies.

5 RespuestasIt is literally $10. I just paid $12 for Whataburger and now it's gone in my stomach. Also paid $19 in gas. It took the Whataburger folks a couple of minutes to prepare my food. I would imagine a lot of Bungie staff not involved in the game direction put a lot more effort into their work, like artists and sound and programmers. Even despite this, I paid Bungie $10, but Whataburger $12. Basically, it is pocket change for any person. You even know ahead of time what you are paying for, at least most of it.
