I considered a suppression detonation so that it still cuts off supers to save your life, not being tethered immediately still gives the chance to avoid being fully screwed, but suppression always throws people off.

Honestly I don't disagree with you, but think about this, why should you [i]not[/i] be fully screwed if get directly hit by this super? Get hit by literally any other super besides well or bubble and you are fully screwed. I'm not talking specifically walking into a tether, I'm saying taking a direct shot from the arrow.

Yes I know, sorry for the misunderstanding as I know the OP is saying instant tether on hitting anything. That's one of the reasons I said I agree with you, just saying, the whole issue could be solved if they just made it instantly suppress/tether on direct hits only. Then it would at least have a more equal risk vs reward and if you want instant activation, you have to take that risk. Just my opinion.
