It would link our past to our present. We did a lot in Destiny 1, and we should be able to say were were there with pride. Here's some title ideas that could be unlocked by our D1 achievements.
Legend: Unlocked by completing all D1 story campaigns.
Fatemaker: Unlocked by completing the D1 Vault of Glass normal mode.
Time's Vengeance: Unlocked by completing D1 Vault of Glass hard mode.
Swordbearer: Unlocked by completing Crota's End normal mode.
Ascendant: Unlocked by completing Crota's End hard mode.
Loyal: Unlocked by defeating Skolas in the Prison of Elders.
Kingslayer: Unlocked by completing King's Fall normal mode.
Godslayer: Unlocked by completing King's Fall hard mode.
Iron Lord: Unlocked by completing Wrath of the Machine normal mode.
Young Wolf: Unlocked by completing Wrath of the Machine hard mode.
Eternal: Reach the Lighthouse in D1.
War Torn: In Destiny 1 reach rank 25 with the Future War Cult and unlock the exotic class item associated with the Future War Cult.
Undead: In Destiny 1 reach rank 25 with Dead Orbit and unlock the exotic class item associated with Dead Orbit.
Monarch: In Destiny 1 reach rank 25 with New Monarchy and unlock the exotic class item associated with New Monarchy.
Edit 1: Added "in Destiny 1" to the War Torn, Undead, and Monarch titles because some people apparently haven't played Destiny 1 and think I am suggesting exotic class items. Of course, these people would have very clearly have skipped the title in order to think this, but you meet all kinds of people on this forum apparently.
Edit 2: Replaced "Hivebane" with "Swordbearer" and replaced the original Swordbearer position with "Ascendant".

2 RespuestasMommy, can i have a gold star sticker?

6 RespuestasHow about combining all of our achievements into 4 titles? They could be for each of the 3 years of the game, with the 4th being for doing things for all 3 years. Since I'm too lazy to do the 3 years ones (someone did a nice one below), I'm gonna do one for the whole lifespan: Veteran •Complete all Y1 moments of triumphs •Complete all Y2 moments of triumphs •Complete all Y3 moments of triumphs •Obtain a grimoire score of 4000 •Complete all raids •Destroy the heart of the Black Garden •Capture Skolas, Kell of Kells •Finish all story missions from all 3 years •Obtain Outbreak Prime, Touch of Malice, and maybe Vex Mythoclast and Necrocasm? Depends on how many people got them •Go flawless is Trials of Osiris in D1 And maybe also include an exotic emblem that you get from having the title, and have it sent to your postmaster or something. I miss the Y1 flawless emblem, the only exotic emblem to ever appear in Destiny. Would be cool to have an exotic emblem to show you're a veteran, along with the title of course.

The next couple of years is going to see everything from D1 re-skinned in to D2 so don't worry, you'll get a particpation trophy.
-
I just want my valor in darkness emblem back
-
Would be cool, but not the end of the world if not
-
-
We already got emblems so no point really
-
No, but you can get titles when Bungie brings this stuff back and makes you do it again.
-
No screw D1
-
2 RespuestasI'd be happy if I could bring a few D1 emblems over. Wolfhunter and Valor in Darkness would probably do. And Fatebringer.
-
4 RespuestasOnly if they port over all D1 to D2. PC players who got into destiny for first time on PC would never have those titles otherwise
-
I think “Iron Lord” and “Young Wolf” should be flipped around. We were being called Young Wolf before we officially became Iron Lords.
-
If only D2 could love up to D1 I might be willing to call it the definitive over a gross amalgamation with D1 tacked onto a dying corpse.
-
Oh boy would I love some Legacy Seals/Titles.

83 RespuestasSo what you’re saying is: Lock a bunch of cool exclusive stuff that no one can get anymore and no one who played D1 on a different account can get? That’s just straight stupid. Also half of that is raids and only 10% of people raid so also no. This is a horrible idea. Just horrible.
-
I think for us that have purchased everything since D1 as well as D2 should get something. I mean they are giving people who just start about 100 dollars worth of content and 100s of hours of free leveling and grinding while not giving us that purchased everything any money back. If we don't get money back i understand, but taking away content we paid for like the 4 planets, strikes, and missions and then having the balls to charge us for new content is ridiculous. That means if you don't buy the new dlc then they took away what you have paid for. If you got a new car and they said they are creating new tires and you need to buy them and if you don't then you will have no tires because we are taking ur old tires away anyways.

Editado por Sturm with no Drang: 6/23/2020 7:42:37 PMBumping this. Something that some game devs seem to have forgotten as of late (looking at you DE Steve Sinclair) is how to commemorate and respect long standing players who helped support them at their roots and when they were getting built up. Sadly, Bungie is a stranger to the concept to a degree, whether it was when they stalled exp progression around Curse of Osiris/Dawning to prevent current players from gaining Eververse Engrams by leveling up, to blocking non-destiny playing Halo/B.net forum-goers in an attempt to prevent spam accounts from overfilling the general subforums (The #Offtopic Exodus). I will give them props for making some emblems that represent past D1 achievements like Lore Scholar and Laurel Triumphant and even throwing in a few npc dialogue lines referencing the Young Wolf themselves, but it’s nice to get a little reminder every once in a while that they haven’t forgotten about little ‘ol us who helped give D2 a good base to be founded upon.

All I want is to be able to access my legacy save from my previous console. I swapped to PlayStation from Xbox between D1 and D2 and I'd like the game to at least acknowledge that I put my time in back then. But legacy-tied titles are a great idea.
-
What if they were tied to the age of triumph book pages instead of individual raids. I would say both but that would be a LOT of new titles. One for each of the emblems added for completing a page
-
There are three emblems. That’s all you’ll get.
-
Would be kind of cool to get more than the "Young Wolf" Emblem for D1 accomplishments. It is still around, so almost anything that a Guardian wants to accomplish in D1 could still be done. I believe the only things not available are Trials and Iron Banner.

-
Brilliant idea we need this!!!!
-
Would love all of this, not really a huge addition to the game, but still a good way for all the veterans, to show what they have achieved from the very beginning of destiny.
-
Editado por Corrick II: 6/23/2020 2:51:38 PMCan we also drop the “2” and just call it Destiny again. Change old Destiny to Destiny Legacy or something but make Destiny 2 the prime game and dump the sequel number.
-
Instead of adding young wolf for wrath of the machine hard mode instead the title should be “Perfected”
