*a thrown stone strikes the wrist of the hand holding, breaking his wrist as a voice calls out to him from an unknown direction*

Errol drops his gun with a cry of shock and pain. At the same time, his Atoms fall away from Skye, allowing her a breath of relief. Holding his hand close, Errol turns to look in all directions in search of the one who had thrown the stone. “Who did that? Where are you?!”

*the voice whispers in his ear* Right here.
-
Errol’s body recoils from the voice, then whips around with his good hand in a fist, hoping to hit whoever had interrupted his plans.

*it hits empty air*

[spoiler]Apologies for the late reply! Real life does like to throw unexpected things at you.[/spoiler] Errol stands dumbstruck, his jaw gaping. Skye is equally confused, but with his back towards her she forces herself to her feet and begins to limp away.

*a few feet away, Sable appears out of invisibility and gets a good look at Errol* .... Errol?

Errol glares at Sable, and the discs of his left glove flicker red. “Sable?” He says, almost in disbelief. “Did you did this? And here I thought we were at peace the last time we met.”

We were... why are you doing this?

His eyes harden with anger. “It is no concern of yours!” He yells furiously. “Get out of the way and let me finish this!”

No. I won't let you kill this woman. *raises her fists in defiance*

“Your abilities are certainly different than most, but you’re just as irritating as everyone else here!” His good hand is thrust out in front of him, and his Atoms fly out in response towards Sable.
-
She dodges to the side as a silver liquid covers her hands, lengthening and hardening into long blades I don't want to hurt you, Errol!

The Atoms bank abruptly to attempt another attack. “Neither did Skye, but if you haven’t noticed, the feeling isn’t mutual.”

*sprints towards Errol, trying to outrun the atoms*

The Atoms pursue Sable, though Errol grimaces at the pain in his wrist, and they lose their speed. Knowing his opponent would escape them, Errol prepares himself for her next move.

*tackles him, being careful to not stab him* You won't listen to reason?

“I’ve had enough reason! The only way to avenge my father is getting rid of the corruption that killed him, and [i]she[/i] will be in the way!” He is forced to the ground, and attempts to push her off of him along with a punch to the side of her face.

*She recoils, as he managed to hit one of the few parts of her that could still be called "organic"* Gah!

Errol takes advantage of the moment and jumps to his feet. He moves to grab her from behind.
-
*he manages to grab her, but she immediately begins to struggle*
-
He almost loses his hold, and tries to land another punch to her side.
-
*this time, his fist clangs off of metal and he receives an elbow to the face for his trouble*
-
He stumbles back, and raises his hand to touch his face. He looks down at his fingers to find blood from his nose. “You’re definitely a little more than simply human, aren’t you?”

What tipped you off?

“A few factors. Why do you care what happens to her?” He gestures to Skye, who is watching worriedly from a short distance away.
