Comp needs better rage quit protection
-
1 RespuestaThe answer is less rage, A.K.A,
SBMM
-
2 RespuestasThat would be a system that is too easy to abuse. Think of how literally no game has a system like that.
-
If your team keeps quitting on you, it’s you. 😂
-
-
It could have been an emergency bathroom visit, how do you know everyone is rage quitting? :D
-
It’s called get a team together and don’t play the toxic solo queue.
-
1 RespuestaIf random teams keep quitting, maybe you should take the hint.
-
1 RespuestaPlayers will abuse this to stop someone from losing glory rank. Remember, the Destiny crowd will unplug their internet, run net limiters, and AFK for days on end for any advantage they can take.

2 Respuestas
Comp needs better rage quit protection
It’s skbmm. People should be having fun.

-
2 RespuestasPlenty of youtubers and streamers have done 1v3 trials in D1... It's not impossible to win, stop crying and get on with it.

Agreed. 99.9% of the time the other team is going to win anyways unless you are a God-level player who can take down a team of 3. But most will not. This is one reason I stopped playing comp after I got my Recluse (soon to be sunsetted, ugh, that's just...wrong). I was going to go for the Unbroken title at some point, but it wasn't worth the aggravation. But as for being the sole player on my team in comp, I had it happen way too much where I'd be the only player on my team after the other 2 quit/dropped for whatever reason, often facing a 3-stack from a clan. So instead of dropping because I could get banned, I would just suicide off the edge of the map. Better that than being roadkill for a team of dickheads who would teabag over me or otherwise celebrate their 'skillful' team kill of solo play. So a forfeit game option when it isn't going to screw over other players would be a nice courtesy from Bungie. Not holding my breathe waiting for it to ever come along, though.

1 RespuestaWhy even bother? Game is a perennial disappointment.
-
2 RespuestasIt should be something like a 20-30 min ban if you leave (purposely) half way through a match. I'm sick of playing 3 on 6. I'm also starting to get sick of being loaded into pre existing games losing 20-80 straight off. Being mercied just as you join is a bit shit.
-
10 RespuestasI went from 4k in comp to 3490 because people either quitting, or teammates being so bad (ie: 0.20kd at then end of the match) that I just had to sit there and take it. I run double primary so I'm already at a disadvantage. 9/10 times I end up with a (1.5 - 2.0) something normal but I can't sit and play for my team too. Not to mention warlocks with mountaintop, Titans with bastion, and Hunters crutching literally any meta weapon because Hunters are all trash. I ran into this ^ all on the same team and my teammates? One had blues. F**KING BLUES AT 3500+ and the other? They were brain dead. They literally ran straight into 1v3's over... and over... and over again... So I ask.. @Bungie.. WHY AM I BEING PUNISHED FOR SOMETHING I CAN'T PREVENT?
-
1 RespuestaSay my two buddies want to help me out get a high ranking, if we’re losing, I tell them to leave. I agree with your sentiment but the solution isn’t easy to see
-
Should be cut XP lose once someone quit or disconnect
-
2 RespuestasThis. As well as quickplay. Shouldn't have to put up with 2-3 people leaving from my team cause we're down 30 points half way into the game
-
5 RespuestasYeah if you’re in Freelance and someone quits, you shouldn’t lose Glory if you lose or leave the match.
-
Totaly agree. Things like this are what stop me from getting legend rank and not forgotten.
-
11 RespuestasComp just shouldn't have loss points.

3 RespuestasEditado por Sweet Lew 88: 6/17/2020 1:01:41 AMSeems like you play with a team. If you choose to play with players that rage quit, then thats your fault. Play with people with cooler heads. Or is this a way to cheese the system, when you're losing, have your whole team leave so you dont get a loss penalty? I see right thru you. Take care Julian McDonald, if thats your name, not smart to put it out there.
-
I think they should make it so if any teammates leave you dont get penalized for losing. I played comp 1 time both my teammates were burning lives and rage quit, My 1v3 didnt last very long it was a hard fought battle that was alas lost

10 RespuestasEditado por Sweet Lew 88: 6/16/2020 9:17:12 PMIf you are trying to win, why are you playing solo? A personal acheivement? You put yourself in a big disadvantage, no communication, no team work, you don't know if everyone on your team wants to win, potentially bad players, and random matchmaking issues. When I want to win, I play in a team. You can communicate, make sure everyone has good guns, everyone wants to win and you can work as a team. Many solo players have had success in Survival, i've earned my first Not forgotten going solo. However, you need to be decently skilled and have lots of patience for random issues. If you don't have that, probably shouldn't try solo in a team based activity. Quit protection is pretty good, you quit too much and you get banned....
-
2 RespuestasI'm not "rage-quitting", the game keeps disconnecting and kicking me. I haven't manually quit out of A SINGLE GAME, yet I've gotten suspended twice just THIS SEASON.
-
Either lessened or altogether remove the penalty on losses, yeah. Being down one or two players in a Comp match and essentially fighting an uphill battle you're in no position to win is both demoralizing and unenjoyable, so the standard loss penalty feels unnecessary and too much.
