How the hell did sprint cancel make it through playtesting?
I’m not being facetious; I really would like some elucidation of the process. In PvE I can live with it (for a short time), but Crucible is nigh unplayable for me and pretty much 99 percent of people I know.
This kind of thing is EXACTLY why you guys are dogged by the persistent rumor that you either don’t test, or woefully under-test, your game.

It's a learn to play issue, same as animation canceling in elder scrolls online you either learn to do it to be at the top of your game or you don't and remain a filthy casual.

How did the new exotic get through? How did AFK forge farming get through.....again How did the broken enhancer get through? How did the testers get through the selection process?

2 RespuestasSimple, this game is a PC game at this point. They dont test the game on console, they dont listen the console player base, they dont even think about consoles when designing the sandbox. That controller remap support they got this season? Thats basically for the PC players who plug the controller in crucible.

7 RespuestasThere's a rumor that most of Bungie's employees are just contractors. People are there to get the pay check and get out. One "ex-employee" said that most people left and the ones that are staying have no desire to make the game into a good one anymore.

Hows does 98% of the bugs, glitches, etc. make it through play testing at Bungie? Every release, update and patch Bungie releases is full of bugs and errors. The QC department at Bungie needs to be replaced, that's if they even have a QC department.

1 RespuestaI don't really understand how this is a complaint: if you're using toggle sprint, it's no one's fault but your own for mashing a button you only have to press once. If you're not using toggle sprint and instead using hold...then, once again, how in the world is it Bungie's fault because your fingers, slippery from too much dorito dust and mountain dew spilled on your desk after the fifth "F***********CK" of the previous 10 seconds or so managed to slide off of your shift key? And if you're playing on controller...well, the Vex have a method for this, typically involving rewinding to an earlier time in the post.

I found that if you map your sprint button to a “long press” for “hold sprint”, and “toggle sprint” to “single press” it is bett[i]er[/i]. Not exactly as before, but better. This may also come to personal preference.

11 RespuestasProbably because they don't needlessly click the analog stick multiple times like an ape.... I didn't even know there was an issue until I got on here. You just have to click it once and you run. lol

It's mostly the fact that they should've just stated sprinting would be click to toggle by default after the update. Most issues people are having lie in that confusion I think. I've gotten used to it for the most part, but it does indeed feel different at first. Hopefully they add the option to revert to true default!
