Why, Bungie, are you not only forcing players to be on at a specific time, but also for nearly a 2 hour long period, if the player wants to be in on the seasonal content? People have things going on in life, people are in other time zones. Deciding that the player has to be on at this exact time or you miss out on content is just stupid.
If you are going to do a live event you have to be there at a certain time, then replay it every 8 hours for the day or even two so people around the world can experience it. If you dont want to replay the live events a few times then stop doing them and make it a whole section of a quest we can choose to start whenever someone is able to get on that day.

I bet u cried about missing Travis Scott in Fortnite too
-
Replay it every 8 hours? Lol that's not how a live event works.
-
Most people are off on Saturdays. That's probably why they did it on a Saturday and not Tuesday reset. So more people could experience it.
-
Lmao legit first live event they have ever done... you didnt moss much if you wernt there multiple YouTube videos up of the event.. you can get the emblem even if you wernt there... so you don't miss out on anything stop your -blam!-! I think it should have been an exclusive had to be there moment. The emblem should only be available to players that witnessed it happen live imo.

5 RespuestasBruh Bungie doesn't have to abd shouldn't cater to everyone

Editado por name: 6/8/2020 12:30:31 PMFOMO event in a FOMO game, makes perfect sense , now you better play 24/7 because you never know when the next surprise cutscene will appear , unless you just want to watch it as a spectator on youtube
-
You have a 1027 character and youre mad cause you spent an hour chillin watching the fireworks This is why BNG doesnt take us seriously
-
Editado por Sohsuh: 6/7/2020 9:44:18 PMThis was a very exciting way to do it. They gave us a surprise event at the last second, which went out with a bang. Why do you people who work a lot think that the ONLY way they can release stuff is by giving a ton of notice? Are you saying that people who don't work 7 days a week can never have a surprise event because you need at least a weeks notice in order to participate? A ton of people loved the last minute surprise, so why should we lose out on something like this? There isn't only one way to do it. It wouldn't have been the same had they announced it 3 weeks ago. It doesn't always have to be your way.

I would assume YouTube is available to anyone that plays destiny and wants to see the live event or wants to see a sped up version of the event after it happened.

Scheduling will never work for everyone. Ever. I can't complain to Sky TV because I miss out on lots of live sporting events that I pay a monthly subscription for because of work, other commitments and they're in other timezones. What Bungie can do better next time is have the option in game to experience say the last 10 mins of it for people who missed out & wish to see it themselves other than watching it on YouTube.

If you no want to long wait well why you complaining no one forge you go to tower

Personally. I'm glad it happened at 3am my time. I didn't want to see the climax of the season or anything... I'm happy to have all the work I put in over the season just come to an emblem. Seeing a giant spaceship explode... Which has been the build up for the season just seemed like too much effort 🙄
-
I was painting a house all day when the event happened, saw it on youtube when i got back home and got my emblem, not a big deal, its not like being their to see it gave any really cool item.

Not everyone works every day.. some ppl do nights.. time zones.. many variables Bungie achieved something pretty impressive. Every Guardian all around the world seen the same thing at the same time. It's impossible for EVERYONE to participate, but they done the best they could. You lucked out. It's jus RNG I guess 🤔

I have real life and a job, which I was working at. I'm over It, took an 1 1/2 hour live event and watched a 5 minute video. Live event means live, happening now. That's like -blam!- at the nfl , because I work on a sunday.
-
7 RespuestasThis game as a whole is a -blam!- you to players who have to actually work and do real life things...
-
Glad it was on a weekend and not middle of the work day Tuesday.

What did you expect, a concert?

Editado por Sweet Lew 88: 6/7/2020 10:06:43 PMLike raid launch day? Can't please everyone.... Where is a majority of Bungies community? I'm guessing the USA? Wouldnt it make sense to have it at a good time for them and also a good time for Bungie to be at work so they can work on the game simultaneously. Bungies also in the USA.
-
You didn't have to be there to get the emblem. It's still available. And you can watch the replay on a million different YouTube and twitch channels. No one "missed out" on anything. You're just looking for something to -blam!- about.
-
Sometimes ppl miss things. Not everyone is off at the same time. Some work nights, some live on the other side of the world. You cannot cater to everyone. It will be ok. Those who missed it will survive. I had to work too but got back to the hotel just in time to sit there for an hour. Yes the actual event was cool when it happened but it doesn’t affect gameplay for those who weren’t there. Sorry but you’re just going to have to get over it and catch it on Youtube. That’s the way life works. Get used to it.
-
You can't please everyone. Oh well.
-
You didn’t miss anything. I signed on for one of the few times in about ten weeks to check it out. You didn’t miss anything. It’s not like it was a global event where everyone in a tower joined to kill something or do some huge strike. It was more mediocrity from the creative genius Luke Smith. To expect anything more than disappointment from Bungie for things that they have already collected your money for, will lead to further disappointment. The September DLC drops are generally fairly good to great. The remainder of the periodic “content” is lackluster and simply mediocre. Bungie will do as little as we allow them to do for our money. It’s that simple. We keep giving them our money and they keep providing less and less meaningful and quality content.

3 RespuestasYou probably saw a video by now but I did a 3 minute capture. Got the majority of the action in the clip. ^^^
