Well you hate it probably because you're rubbish, your words. Do you want pvp tips to improve? I soloed to legend to earn my first not forgotten. It very rewarding and was fun. But I do ok in PvP, so that's probably why I enjoy it.
Pve is very predictable. Enemies fight the same way every time. Spawn out of the same holes. (Yes GM Nightfall is tough, i cant beat it) PvP tends to be unpredictable and tends to be more difficult than pve. If you don't play a lot, you dont know the maps and aren't too familiar with the game modes. This is a huge disadvantage, PvP takes work to get good.
In my opinion. PvP will make you a better pve player.

You need to play better PVP games... I'm pretty sure this is the only game you know.

I agree with some of your input, but my biggest beef is load outs, it's always the same, shoulder smash, shotties and snipes and HC, a lot of stuff gets neglected. I would love to see a no super crucible, a crucible with only weapons, no abilities, at all. But

Yes IF I wanted to play PvP and put as much time, etc. into it I would do better. But when I'm only in there to get some quest or bounty that requires weapons that get stomped by the current broken meta I'm going to do poorly. In my experience with PvE matchmaking the worst people to get matched in with are set up for PvP and play as if those rules apply. You spend all your time reviving them.

And some people don't want to play pve. So it's a wash.

I like crucible if I'm honest but like Bungie, I don't take it seriously, that said Destiny without PvE would die in a week but without PvP it would still keep going. That is more down to the strength of the PvE side of the game and a lack of direction in PvP though.
-
It would probably limp along, but lose many players when content starts to get old. PvP helps player retention and give more value for the dollar. I've enjoyed Bungie PvP since Halo combat evolved.
-
Personally I think there is a massive lack of direction in pve, poor storytelling or no story telling sometimes. They start stories and don't get back to them. The stories they tell are told in lore not the gameplay. It's often cryptic. like apparently that Felwinters lie story was that Rasputin made him or something. But they didn't say they they were like tyrant this and that and had a son or something. I honestly thought it was needlessly cryptic. And more telling than actual gameplay. You say the game would go on with just pve. Maybe. something interesting. I just turned on twitch and of the top 20 guys on twitch streaming destiny. 17 were doing pvp. 2 were doing pve. One was in a pc desktop screen. I'm not positive that it's PVE that's carrying the game. Regardless, If there's no pvp honestly i don't care what happens to the game.
-
To be fair you're not wrong, it's allover the place but the strength of the game play carries it through, there will always be more people streaming PvP then PvE unless it's new content, not really a good gauge of what is good and bad in the game all things being equal. Ultimately I don't think Destiny as a stand alone PvP experience would last.
-
"good" and "bad" are inherently subjective. For the original post pvp is bad. For me it's good. Now the point that twitch may not be the best measuring stick i think probably has merit. I don't think the current Destiny PVE or current Destiny PVP could stand alone. But i think Pvp would survive. I do think if it was only pve alone it would be a far less popular game.

Editado por Sweet Lew 88: 6/6/2020 7:21:42 AMI was just trying to encourage and help a guardian so they can get more out of the game. Its ok if they reject my help. I didnt force my tips on him, just asked if they want some. Not sure why you need to get on my back for helping someone... Lew nails it again.

Clear a GMNFO and you can call it easy.

Literally have zero interest. They seem more like a patience test than a skill check.
