Emoting and sword hilting is ruining crucible, especially Trials of Osiris
You should lock these out from crucible. It's not funny to play against teams who sits behind corners waiting till the round ends..
Games are taking too long because of this. And it gives huge disadvantage to the teams who want to play Trials without those cheap 3rd person tricks.
Seriously, its only got worse over time.
Please answer , are you going to do anything with this?

1 RespuestaYou want to penalize people who think outside the box? Are you a socialist?
-
Game is still peer to peer. Until that gets solved, taking PvP seriously is a joke.
-
Are we seriously at the point of asking for emotes to be nerfed.... this is why we cant have nice things.
-
LOL Trials "players" complain about the dumbst things. 🤣
-
You...know you can do it too right? 😂😂

1 RespuestaI guarantee you there will be many people in this thread saying "I only do it to counter hard scopers" and yet they immediately go to emote peeking the moment they lose a round to a team without a single sniper. Why? Because they took the risk of challenging/peeking for information in a round and lost, so they default to remove that risk instead of playing better.
-
2 RespuestasAh yes. How dare they sit there and emote corners as the enemy team sits there and hard scopes all lanes waiting for a peak. I say leave it alone. It's a perfectly reasonable counter.

It wont be adjusted anytime soon. It’s such an old problem and a great tactic if used. My question is, why not use what’s available and in game? That’s exactly what they are doing to protect their lives in a high stake game mode. If you know they’re emoting, then you should know that you need to move to another plan if they’re checking one area with your team. It’s possible to out beat the emoting. It just takes a strategy and a little bit of skill to outdo then😁

Lots of things are wrong with PvP. This ain't one of them.
-
13 RespuestasPlayers using their brains to check corners before running out into the open to get filled with bullets sounds like a HUGE problem. I'm willing to bet you think people crouching in one spot while fully zoomed in with a sniper rifle is also a problem.
-
It's in the game just use it yourself stop moaning about dumb shit that doesnt matter

2 RespuestasStreaming recovs is worse and actually breaks the terms of service. I agree 3 peaking is a thing that could be changed but it’s so low down on the issues that I’d hate for this to be addressed and not more game breaking things.

Only for campers

5 RespuestasI do it to counter teams thst have 3 revoker/summoners. Third person peeking in the “endgame/competitive” pvp gamemode shouldn’t be a thing, but snipers are unchallengeable atm.
-
It's better when they 3 peek while using weapons with broken aim assist and game pads.
-
You misspelled waah! 😂👌 It has never been a problem.

1 RespuestaAll my defeats are solely due to opponent emoting. Even when I fall off the map or bake my own grenade cake. The most emotive emotes are the ones that cost silver as well, placing the most emotive advantage out of reach from the less frivolous guardian. As a counter, I propose skip grenades for all classes. 500% damage. Can pass through walls. No timer until it reaches a target.

3 RespuestasEmoting is Destiny. Why the f would anyone remove one of the best things my guardians can do to express themselves. I feel as if you want oppress me from self expression.
-
Yeah this us what ruins trials not the constant cheaters and disconnects this is what bungie should be focusing on right now

7 RespuestasEditado por Smough: 5/31/2020 12:37:27 AMThis folks is what happens when you take a non-competitive game and try to pretend it’s competitive. We have constantly active radars. We have exotic armor, weapons, and abilities that allow us to see and track enemies through walls. We have grenades that track onto people and can easily go around corners to hit enemies or to make them move. I don’t see how emotes or swords are an issue. And if they are an issue now, why weren’t they an issue back when trials was actually a popular event that tons of players watched and participated in? My only guess is a youtuber made a video about it and you sheep listened without thinking for yourselves.

2 RespuestasYou're probably one of those people who gets tilted by teabaggers in CS back in the day aren't you?
-
Of all the things you could ask them to fix you chose emoting...
-
people who’ve never played a pvp game before destiny be like “being able to see your opponent when they cant see you and without showing yourself? Sounds fair to me! You’re just bad and nitpicking. Learn to counter it.” 😁👍

4 RespuestasI agree with you that Crucible has a lot of flaws but some creatures of the Hive strain against the Will of Oryx. Alak-Hul, the Darkblade, is one such. Long ago he fomented rebellion against the King and attempted to take his mantle. Alak-Hul failed, and now awaits the “mercy” of the Hive. Given the chance, the Darkblade will step in to take Oryx's crown. We must not allow another Prince to rise.

The counter to this is playing as overly aggressive as humanly possible moving at 200 mph rushing their spawn no matter what. For example put on mountaintop and an auto/ sidearm of your choosing and go ape sh*t ballistic flanking every possible exit by the time they emote/ sword peak and process what’s going on it’s already too late. Trust me it always works against a timid lane camping team.
