I’d make this a poll but there’s not enough space on it to account for even a quarter of all of the games available. So I ask you, what’s your favourite Mario game? Personally, I’m going to go with Super Mario Galaxy 1. I’ve played the original Mario 64 all the way up to Odyssey but none of them captured the feelings I had when playing Galaxy. The music, the creativity, the design and the controls sold it to me as my all time favourite Mario game. Sure some could say SMG2 is so like the first that it could practically be considered an expansion pack and I’d agree with you, but there’s just something special about the first one that stuck with me.
