Aren't those weapons the world pool for the next season?

All of those weapons that we have now are getting sunsetted in season 12. In season 11 bungie is giving us the weapons on that list that will make them viable for 3 seasons after. Why are they sunsetting the ones we already have if they are the same weapon from the list? Example, my Uriels gift I currently have is getting sunsetted in season 12. But starting season 11 if I happen to get a Uriels gift to drop it will not be getting sunsetted for 3 more seasons. If that is the case then why is the Uriels gift I already have getting sunsetted. Its redundant. Take my Uriels gift but give me Uriels gift. It makes no sense to me.

[/quote] I get your point now, your example is perfectly laid out. Yeah, you're right, if that's how it will work, it makes absolutely no sense at all. My only guess is that maybe they're trying to establish a starting point for future. A wild guess, I know, but it was the only one that came to mind.
