Quite the opposite. This is the most variety/fun this crucible has ever been.
Trials may be a bit of an outlier but the general playlist experience is excellent.
I mean....on PC anyway....

Idk how it is on pc but on Xbox, the only primaries in use are Suros, Summoner, Spare Rations, and Dire Promise. Ever since Felwinters Lie released, the only special in use is that, and the crucible is filled to the brim with apes. Plus, almost every single titan is using antaus wards, just feeding in to the ape problem even more than it already was. Its pretty bad. At least up until a few days ago when snipers were on top, there was still a decent mix of usage among special weapon types. So I'm not really seeing diversity in weapons. I am seeing quite the diversity in subclasses though which is very nice. That doesn't happen often and I feel the subclasses might be the most balanced they've ever been in the destiny franchise, even if there are a few outliers (still looking at you, long-lasting spectral blades)

Editado por ETERNAL: 5/24/2020 1:16:26 PMOn PC I can still run double primary and do well....sounds like there is a significantly different experience on console. I am currently running Sidearm/Bow on my Hunter and having some really fun games.
-
Ngl that sounds pretty fun. Might have to try that loadout. Its definitely hard to succeed breaking meta but it's so nice to do so. I would imagine its just easier to crutch on specials due to the increased recoil on console.
-
Oathkeepers and Le Monarque = perfect draw/poison arrow every time :)
-
Bull. 150 hand cannons are trash on console. 180’s are king there. Hell, I can frag with the friggin seraph revolver. Also, the new shotgun JUST CAME OUT A COUPLE DAYS AGO! Of course everyone is using it!
-
Lol, you're not even a crucible player and have little to no game history in the main playlist in the past few months. You have absolutely no experience and don't know what your talking about. You are completely incorrect about handcannons. Take one step in the crucible and you'll see. Also, felwinters is the one of, if not the best shotgun in the game for pvp and is extremely easy to get. It's not just going to fade away with time and is easily part of the new meta. It will be the highest used and thats not because its new. Not wasting my time with you.

??? I just played yesterday.......... And what is the “main” mode?
-
Momentum is literally a mode that only comes around once a month. Its filled with scouts and nade launchers. Of course you have a different experience. A main playlist is literally labeled as a "core playlist" on the director. Control, rumble, survival, elimination, classic mix. You don't play any of those.

Check the history on my Titan and Hunter genius

Editado por sonicBOOM5431: 5/24/2020 1:43:22 PMBruh it tracks your whole account not character. You only play momentum and pve activites. You've only actually sat down and played control and twice since December and nothing else other than momentum lol. Honestly, just look at weapon usage stat trackers. You don't know what your talking about, I'm done with you.
-
You are such an idiot. That momentum control was on my Warlock. I’ve played PvP on my Hunter and Titan since then. Get wrecked.
-
I just played both clash and control yesterday WTF are you talking about?

That’s not really diversity either. And even though wards are strong Hunters are still by far the most used class of consoles... wonder why.
-
Hunters have the highest skill ceiling out of the 3 classes, spectral is probably the most used manly because it gives wall hacks and smoke is very good if you can stick the person, so good that it allows the user to win the majority of battles if the opponent is stuck with smoke. Also wombo combo is very good i mean its a free kill basically.

Not paying attention to statistics, the games generally don't see many subclasses being stacked up repeatedly. I think the extreme high usage compared to other classes is just a matter of hunter population outweighing the kther classes, but it still is over performing id say. I'll tell you, it doesn't matter to me about performance or power, I play what I want to play based on my playstyle. I've played hunter as a main since the d1 beta (hunter was garbage back then by the way), and will continue to do so simply because it is my style of play. They could completely neuter hunter, and I still wouldn't budge. So no, you can't just say everyone plays it cause it's the best. Its true for many, but certainly not all.

Ah yes... Mountaintop, Astral, summoner, suros, felwinters, revoker. Such variety. 10/10
-
Ever fought a team of suros regime + Antaeus wards + some shotgun? Suros - fastest TTK in the game Antaeus - immortality Shotgun - self explanatory
-
Wait so are you on pc? I agree there is variety but 600s feel just a bit to strong and what playlist are in classic or sbmm
-
Autos are having a moment but its manageable. I am on PC and play both Quickplay and Comp daily. Example: even after HC's got their ranges nerfed they do well. If anything could use some love it would be Scout Rifles but that is a map size problem.
-
Oh yeah but 600s are only a problem on console there really easy and very strong and sorry about the cheating situation over there. Quickplay is it a sweat fest???
-
I trust your assessment of the console experience. I do not miss it. I would say it really depends on the time of day. I test loadouts in Comp then if I like them bring them over to Quickplay. I like comp better because the maps are too small for twelve players. The only exception is Iron Banner...where people take it just seriously enough to make it work.
-
Yeah atm lobbies take a while to get into and are extremely hectic with 6v6 (id prefer 5v5) and usually if i go into sbmm it takes 10-15 mins and classic is 4-6 mins
